@devinaabbott Deco is sweet. I'm curious why you guys decided to open source it? I was expecting to pay and after playing with it, with a bit more work I could totally see a few monetization opportunities. Would love to chat if you guys are up for it.
@ekryski yeah, definitely! I'll DM you on twitter. We decided to open source it because we believe it has to be open source to be successful. We always planned for the IDE to be free and open source, since as developers, that's what we would want. If it becomes widely-used, there will be plenty of services we can provide around the IDE to monetize :)
Over 15k users registered for their beta earlier on in this year,. Now, in their May update they have announced it is available, free and open-source :)
@tyler_james_leonhardt should be fine, but not 100% sure. I will try it and get back to you. It would be convenient if pepperoni/snowflake boilerplates were options when I "create new project"
Fantastic product with an amazing team behind it! I strongly recommend you check out Deco. This React Native IDE will make you want to start building RN apps!! Plus it's free and open-source. What more could you ask for?
