I've commented already earlier on Twitter but gonna repeat it here also. This book is so much different than typical reads about Accelerator programs. This goes behind the scene and touches the human side. What are founder's actual daily challenges, ups and downs, personal tradeoffs affecting one's friends and family and importance of their support, surrounding people get you going and a lot more 💪 Equally so how to survive the program when the team is divided between different locations with very useful hints 👍 This is a unique experience and I'm thankful @kailikleemeier has put it all together and sharing it with the rest of the world as well being part of this journey 🙇🏻

Hi Hunters! Since our startup, Deekit, went through Techstars London accelerator, I've been asked hundreds of times to share more about the experience. Simple questions like how do you get into an accelerator and how to maximize your experience while there. Quite often these discussions end up discussing also how to actually pick an accelerator that's best for your company. And also on a personal level - how to actually survive the extra stressful period. Being a mom, it has been an extra interesting experience to have. As it's super hard to describe all of it during an hour-long talk or conversation, I've decided to put this all into a book. And to make reading it easier, the book comes in 113 post-it note illustrations with tips and tons of real-life images. A picture says a thousand words, after all. Hope you find the book and tips useful and really looking forward to hear your thoughts and feedback on the book!

I'm on the team at Deekit but I wasn't around when we went through Techstars. So for me personally, this was an incredible read. Although I know everyone pretty well now, I know them so much more after hearing about the journey the they have been on and the challenges (both personally and professionally) they've faced. This book's human. It's honest. And in truth, pretty inspiring stuff. In the startup world accelerators like Techstars are constantly praised (and rightly so), but rarely do founders tell you what it's really like. Documents like this are incredibly valuable not just for those on the outside, but for those on the inside like me. I've now got a new perspective and appreciation for where we're at right now. Congrats Kaili! 😊 🙌
