I believe Descript Storyboard will be remembered as a watershed product—like VisiCalc, HyperCard, or Abelton Live. Defining a new medium for expression. Eventually this format will be more popular than spreadsheets or presentations.

I've been experimenting with the new Descript for a while now specifically with the idea of "how will this make my workflow (and life) easier", and for things like editing videos, and ESPECIALLY short-form video, this is a game-changer. Amazing to see this product evolve.

The changes are huge, and may take a bit to wrap your head around if you’re a current user but once you do they’re gonna improve your workflow so much. Cool launch @andrewmason ! Quick question, as an agency owner, just to make sure I got this pricing right. We have a social media strategist that would take one editor seat. Would our client be the basic seat? Would Descript allow us to ask the client to record themself with the content we created for them and when they are finished we can add the effects/ edits afterward?
