Hello Product Hunt!
I started this journey 3 years ago after getting my US visa denied, with the hope to teach designers how to code and use the best design tools. That hasn't changed one bit. We're now a team of 10 and we're incredibly excited to launch this new site we coded from the ground up. We recently moved to React, Gatsby, Netlify, Contentful, which we also teach – the whole process of designing and coding a real site and iOS app. No coding experience required.
Design+Code 3 now has 60 hours of video lessons across 12 courses. We now teach Design System in Figma, React for designers, ARKit 2, After Effects, Sketch and a lot more. We now support Chinese Simplified and Traditional. You can check your progress as you go through the courses and receive live chat help from our team as you learn how to code. For the late coders, we added Dark Mode too!

@mengto I have been doing this course since the first release and I find myself giddy to know that my annual Design+Code sabbatical is going to start soon. I honestly can't wait to see the content of this new iteration.

Been a reader of Design+Code since the o.g. version 1, and can absolutely recommend the content that Meng To puts out! Very excited to play around with all the new stuff in version 3 this weekend 🙌
@londonrom Since V2, we had to limit to one year of free upgrades in order to support the massive flow of new content. After V3, we don't restrict access to accounts anymore, but you will need a Pro account to access the premium courses. If you bought V2, you still have time remaining for access all of the content and downloads.
Congrats on the launch @mengto. I'm very proud that @pizza0502 is a part of this amazing team (though I don't think Klang is a food heaven).
Have only done half the React course so far, but will definitely be checking out some of the other courses!
Pros:React course chapters are short and explain topics really well
Cons:Old site could be a bit laggy, not an issue now!
I has been a reader of Design+Code from version 1 till now. Pretty satisfied with what I have learned from Meng To and the team, not just knowledge but the passion and beyond.

Have been a user of all three versions now. Continues to impress and educate every time.
Pros:Intuitive and always up to date on trends.
Cons:Never had any.
How did you guys do these perspective screen views in your promo-video? Was it done all in Screenflow?
@teddygraphics Screenflow is a nice tool, but we use After Effects to do all the animations.
If I bought Design+Code quite a bit ago, will I get my license updated to Design+Code 3?
@teddygraphics wait you want him to go from a team of one to version 3 of the product and 9 more salaries and you don’t want to pay him any more money? That’s not how business works.
@teddygraphics If you bought within the last 12 months, you will get access to the latest courses for free in V3. Beyond that, you can take advantage of this discount. We went from 4 courses to 12 since, so we have to support that massive effort. :)

@teddygraphics @mengto If I bought v2 will my v3 licence expire at the same time as my v2 licence would have expired?
So will I be able to build a site that looks like Design+Code with the React lessons? 🤔
I was working work with the Design+Code since the first edition. I am sure that Design+3 will be just a good if not better.

If I have a version 1 membership (signed up the first week) that will expire will you offer a discount at the time of renewal? I think this is what is being asked by @teddygraphics The website Design+Code account page says 'Your subscription will end on Jan 14, 2019. It won’t renew. You have access to all courses, premium downloads, professional support and discounts.'
@teddygraphics @gravnetic1 The discount is time-constrained. What you can do though is to buy the extension now and it will automatically add a year after Jan 14.
Heyy!! So I bought the Design+Code 2 around Nov and I understand that i only have to sing in and will have a pro account for V3, but even if i do i still get the Get Pro button is this expected??
@thomaswangio thanks for the clarification, cant wait to give it a go ❤️❤️. One more thing what happens once my subscription is finish will i lose access to all the courses or wont get any updates from that date on till i get a new subscription??
