Congrats on the Launch mate! Thanks for making Design Junction. I've recently got interested in Design and planning to learn it as I can see DJ has some great resources :)
π Hey Everyone!
Super stoked for the launch!
Design Junction, what and why?:
As a self-taught designer who happens to be a high-school student as well, I know how tough it gets to pay for premium paid resources.
Whether youβre working on a side project and are short on funds, or have been handed a tight budget by a cash-strapped client, there are many free design resources out there on the internet that can help you out.
But using free images, fonts, tools and other assets can often come at a price. They may be low on quality. Or even worse, on disreputable sites, they might have been stolen from their rightful creators who never intended them to be free.
A few months back, I began collecting whatever resource I came across on the internet, in a Notion doc, however as the list grew bigger with time, I decided to compile them on a website with smooth and dedicated user experience for the ever supporting design community. That's when Design Junction was formed. Helping designers and creatives with free high-quality resources in one place.
Would love your feedbacks in the comments below!
Cheersπ₯
I've seen many variations of this. I'd like to see categorisation breakdown. Also the hero section is very large & takes me more time to 'get the idea' of what the site is about.
Like you go to reddit for a content consumption and it straight away dives into the content & lets you figure it out.
