@maria_brm Hey Maria. Thank your very much for your feedback. If you publishing your website with devfolio you will immediately get a subdomain hosted with your website. Later, by using the dashboard you can change any information you want to reflect on the website.

I was actually just browsing thought templates to build a portfolio website for a client, its so hard to find a good unique template these days. This is great.

Finally, a neat & simple portfolio builder. I like it, I want it.
I choose a (sub)domain name, upload the avatar, fill the details and get the link:

Then catastrophy struck. I came back after lunch & devfolio's dashboard tells me that I need to start over. But, my devfolio page is live with details. I promise, you can check it.
And why is there no option to upgrade? I love it, I want to pay & support the dev/co. Just take my money.

Anyways, a neat product but lack the right execution. I hope you get these issues fixed and actually offer a paid plan.

Many developers, designers, and creators have barriers to showcasing their work to the employee due to not having a portfolio website. We all know, how essential is to have an online portfolio in order to get a job. Studies have shown that a candidate who has a professional-grade portfolio website has a 78% more chance of getting a job than a candidate who doesn't have an online portfolio. And yet we are giving it less priority when it comes to building our own portfolio website. It's not that we don't want to build, the amount of effort and time it will take to create and put content into the website makes us postpone it every time, we are thinking of building one. Great effort for sure, but what are your key differentiators against ready-made WordPress templates, Behance folios, Webflow, and many other companies who are in the portfolio business? plus I found the preview experience to be buggy on my first attempt when I tried to see the preview of the selected template without saving it.
@shiran_sanjeewa Hey Shiran. Hope you are doing well. We still in beta and continuously working on improving the product. You may experience some bugs here and there. But with time it will get better, I promise. And for the differentiators part, we mission is collecting you information through a user friendly forms and make the website live as soon as possible. You don't have to be a design or landing page conversion expert . It's quick and convenient to use.
