dewey. is back with another launch. What’s that? You’re saying, “But hey, you launched 2 years ago. Once is enough. You made Twitter bookmarks actually functional now go ride off into the sunset.”
And sure, that’s a great sentiment.
And yes, we vastly improved how Twitter users organize, preserve, and share their bookmarks but our work isn’t done.
Before we dive into what we’re launching, here is a quick recap of who we are from our previous launch:
dewey. actually grabs your Twitter bookmarks so you can continue using the native functionality Twitter gives you, and then layers search, sort, tags, collections, sharing, and even export (all things that Twitter should have made by default). In fact, dewey. is the only way to actually get use out of your Twitter bookmarks, and by the look of it, there are millions of Twitter users using them over third-party products.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about today.
dewey. is going Premium.
But no, don’t fret. This isn’t a heist to steal your bookmarks that hold the location of the Declaration of Independence like some Nic Cage romp.

I just let my Twitter Blue subscription lapse and was missing the Bookmark Folders feature... but thankfully Dewey has returned with a premium subscription — which should mean this'll stick around for some time and my copious Twitter bookmarks (more than 1800 as this point) can continue to be organized and made useful!

I'd love to support the product—you offered a very generous discount code—but it seems I can no longer import any Twitter bookmarks (it goes through the whole scrapping process). Then I tried to reply to one of the promo emails you sent out info@… but it got bounced with "The email account that you tried to reach does not exist"

Great job on the launch of dewey! This is a great product that will help people save and organize their Twitter bookmarks.
Great product! I'm a monthly account holder, will this update stop dewey from crashing out and not capturing all of my bookmarks? I have 1000's over a decade but dewey indexes no more than 1500 in total and stops digesting at around 500.

Note that the Bookmarks feature was released in February of 2018. At some point in 2019, Twitter decided it was a good idea and dropped a table. Many of our users, myself included lost a lot of bookmarks.
This was actually the catalyst for building dewey. and removing dependency from Twitter. Now, if Twitter disappears tomorrow (which would stink) your bookmarks and associated media is preserved in dewey.
