@ely_fornoville I will share you story soon. I will need to go surgery in a few days time, another medical repair i need for my hernia for 10 years. Why i go late is because of $$$ and i did consultation. my diabetes is stable past 6 months, doctor was impressed and cut down my meds on metformine and glipizide. So i consulted the doctor, he say now i can go my surgery. I will submit a store on diabetes + hernia case. For just type 2 story i think is not strong enough to cover the content. Once i'm done with surgery i will share full story for Diabetic & Me community 💯 Thank you Ely! Much love

Hi Product Hunt! I have lived with type 1 diabetes since March of 1996. Living with diabetes didn’t make my life easier but it did open a new world and created new friendships. I started writing about my life with type 1 diabetes in January of 2019. I created journals and kept records of my daily life but never got to the point of publishing it online. In October 2019 I made the decision not to focus on myself anymore. I created an online interview and I posted my first draft of that interview on Reddit and got around 30 people that wanted to participate. When reading the interview I quickly came to the conclusion I wasn’t the only one with certain problems or feelings that go hand in hand with the life of a diabetic. I wanted to share these stories online and open up a new world. Focussing on others showed me how people around the world live with diabetes. I bring an honest and open account of my own life with diabetes but also the lives of others. I work hard to stay involved and give as much as I can back to the community that empowers and inspires me. Hope you find this useful and if you are a diabetic or know any diabetics, feel free to share this.
