I understand it's commercial, but if someone is a developer — he already wouldn't pay for any version of this 'cause he easily creates such things himself. Open-source would provide a way to expand the target audience to devs and their friends. Devs really enjoy when it's possible to both use something for themselves and easily contribute to it.
