Seriously one of the best products out there for nonprofits. Tons of orgs that use and rely on donorbox.

Donorbox used to work, and I would have given 5 out of 5. BUT over the last week they published a new version with the worst UX one could think of. 10 times more clicking to get to things, painful navigation (1/5 of the screen is where you can work on your campaign, 4/5 of the screen some random image of kids in Africa that just stay there. I reported this to their support team who shrugged this off.

@thokapjoo Thanks Thodap! Orgs can change the color of their forms too. The simple material design has lasted us a while. Maybe next year we will do another round of improvements on the design.

Processing fee? = This covers the 2.9% + 30c credit card processing fee from Stripe or Paypal (this fee can be reduced for registered nonprofits), as well as the 0.89% platform fee . As a reminder, organizations only have to pay the platform fee once they reach $1k in donations for a month. Very nice service will have to try it out.

@ehgemiller434 Thank you even after the free tier. Our the total fee is only 0.89% + card processing fee. This is a lot lower than others in the space that charge 4% or more.

Do you have a CRM at the backend? I think I should just sign up and try the platform.

@joshua87761 we have a simple donor profiles that aggregates each donor's data. However it is not near a full CRM. We do integrate with Salesforce and other CRM thru zapier.

This is great, very easy to use for those who want to donate and for nonprofits. I also love that it supports ApplePay and Google Pay. And it's free before 1000$? Perfect.

It's time to replace a Paypal donation link I put on a site about 10 years ago.

Pros:

Amazing how few donation products there are on PH. Donorbox seems to be a legit one.

Usually PayPal or Stripe charges 2.3% as transaction fees. But with the help of ACH payments, we save tons in transaction fees.
