Thanks @eriktorenberg :) Why We Made It: We were inspired by the idea that our phones, even while they're super computers, really don't do quite enough for us yet. Shouldn't they actually save the day when we really need them to? What's a natural/fun (discrete) gesture we can make to trigger our phone to do something? ...click o' the heels. How It Was Made: We break it on down in the blog post (linked). That said, this is merely the first prototype -- the unit needs to get much smaller and cheaper before it can be viable to the masses. What's Next: After we figure out how to make the unit smaller and cheaper -- we want to explore if there's a real public safety use case that might make this more interesting than just another IoT device. That said, we're eager to explore what else we can trigger! Hopefully today's input from you all will help us see where Dorothy might go...
