Surprisingly high ratings for both the iOS (4.7) and Android (4.4) apps for an app like this — which leads me to believe it works...!

@chrismessina I’m a big fan. They have a surprising amount of local bars and restaurants in New York. Just use your credit card like normal and the cash back appears next day. I’ve earned $34 in first month.
I have been using this app for a while and it works seamlessly. You get money back very quickly. One thing to note, it seems you can't use the Yelp Cash Back program with Dosh concurrently. I tried both, Dosh was faster. Use my referral link and get $5 after signing up. http://bit.ly/dosh5
@mikaelpittam Using Yelp Cash Back and Dosh concurrently doesn't work probably because they use the same backend provider for automatic rewards. The real company to watch is https://www.empyr.com/#main - this is the company that powers most of the online-to-offline offers you see in the card-linked offers space.
I've heard authorizing a third party like this (or drop, a similar service) to your account is technically a violation of your account agreement and after you do so your bank or credit card company can refuse to investigate any fraudulent activity on your account because you are in violation of the T&C. Does anyone have any insight into this?
Anyone have an opinion on the privacy implications of linking a card to Dosh or Yelp rewards? What are they doing with my purchase data besides the stated offering? I want to try but sticking on this point.
Once you register your credit cards, the savings automatically happen. You can get 7-10% cash back on dining, cash back on travel when booking on their app, and they’re adding more and more retailers to their program.
Pros:Automatic savings
Cons:Not every restaurant/retailer participates
