I like the fact the app has different tools like the timer, notes, etc. Makes it a well-rounded and pretty much all-inclusive app :)

Hi guys! I'm excited to launch my first project on Product Hunt. It's been amazing for my productivity as I initially created it for myself to help focus at my first real desk job, and I hope that some others out there find it useful as well. I've been building Dot Focus for roughly a month on the side, and I'm proud of what I have so far. It was created, in part inspired by some other sites out there (Lofi Club, Lofi Cafe, and my favorite, plaza.one), but I thought I could add some additional features - for example, multiple genres of music, high quality ambient sounds, and a suite of basic productivity tools. And this is all curated music and sounds - I like the fact that I'm not just hitting a live YouTube stream, like many other alternatives - although I've enjoyed that as well. Oh, and if you enjoyed MenuBarX from another Product Hunt launch this week, try it out with Dot Focus - I've found it super useful to be able to pop in and out and see my notes and lists easily, or change music.
