@mjain_mayank We currently support Slack too! We do want to slowly roll out support for other platforms. Priority for us has always been to build a deep support for one before we add more platforms. What is the next one you would like to see?

I have been running a discord community for Olvy, would definitely come on handy.
Love the example of step-by-step onboarding flow, which usually we do it with mee bot which is obviously not very customisable.

@sanketchauhan Congrats on the launch! Super interesting, especially for people like me that don't code. What is the ideal community size?
@markus_sigel Communities with more than few hundered members benefit the most from Dots!
We do have some very small communities using it (such as surveying members), but generally we recommend most communities to do things manually to learn what resonates in the community before you automate specific tasks.
Was there a usecase where you felt a custom Discord bot would have been ideal for you in the past?
@sanketchauhan Interesting. Would it be possible to auto-forward alerts from external sources, let's say Tradingview, directly to my Discord group?

@sanketchauhan @pranavbadami I was thinking of using this as a personal use case, for online gaming, my go-to game has changed servers from a local forum to discord, I was planning on creating surveys, questions and strategies on our discord channel with this. I hope this could be possible with your software.
@pranavbadami @jorge_casals Yes, we have a pretty extensive support for surveys/questions, and you can easily track the results (or export it to a csv or google sheet for example)
Essentially anything you can do through Google forms or Typeform, we support that but natively on Discord.
What do you mean by strategies btw? Like getting suggestions on best game play?
@pranavbadami @sanketchauhan Exactly, or asking what days are most people available to plan strategies etc, so leaders are aware automatically without having to behind everyone individually.

But there is still a little problem that can be improved: when there are too many automation paths, crosses and overlaps appear between the paths. It brings me trouble editing the graph. I can't drag one path to another place.

I got to use dots pretty early on and have loved how the team has grown the product. Discord is great for communities, but the native tools are terrible for automation and scale. Dots has helped a lot with that. Really excited for what they're doing now and next!

I’ve been using Dots for months now for the Polybase discord server’s onboarding flow. Highly recommend for quick set up and an easy to use product.

This is awesome! It's crazy that a no-code tool like discord needs a separate no-code tool to make it usable for communities. Way to go @sanketchauhan :)
Very interesting - helps Discord becomes a bit more viable for large groups. Large community group platforms don't really have a great platform solution yet, imo, and need apps like this to take them a step closer. Thoughts?
@phdam3 totally agreed! People end up getting lost in large communities and it’s hard to guide people through certain processes and campaigns at scale. That’s where we’re moving the needle!
@phdam3 Another thing is instantaneous nature + the fact that so many people use Discord already - it makes it accessible to a lot of people. Something about chat is just a better version to communicate than forums for certain types of conversations & connections
Dots makes it easy to create custom experiences for my community with no code. Much easier than having to deploy code changes every time I want a new onboarding experience
@aravindh_dorai exactly!! Or even having to maintain a bot on a cloud server, that’s a longer term challenge for a lot of folks.
Very cool! I've been in multiple Discord servers and love how bots get set up, but never knew how to do it myself lol. Looks like this makes it much easier!

We've been using dots to onboard users into our Discord at Moonstream.to. I love that dots just worked and that every minor tweak that we needed was quick and easy to make.
