Dovetail is already used by thousands of product people to discover patterns across qualitative data like customer interviews, usability tests, survey responses, and more. Now with video highlights and transcription built into Dovetail, you can turn any recorded customer interaction into tagged and searchable video clips in a few minutes. All you need to do is:
📄Upload and transcribe
Upload a video or audio file and transcribe it in one click. Edit and tidy the transcript, name and change speakers, split monologues, and more, in real time with other people.
✍️Create highlights
Select text and tag your transcript to build a highlight reel across all of your interviews and usability tests. See the trimmed and edited moments for each tag, within seconds.
🔍Search within video
Search for and play back the exact moments your users mention certain key words or phrases to find evidence to support your roadmap or research insights. It's like ⌘+F for video.
🏗 Free, during beta
Video highlights and transcription is free to use while this feature is in beta. After beta, all paid plans will come with some transcription minutes. Sign up for a free trial account, we'd love to hear your feedback and thoughts.
