hey, great video and congratulations on the launch. I am curious how did you come up with the idea for this product. Considering this is a very crowded space, there are a wide range of products like Jira, Asana, trello, productplan etc which serve this need, is there a unique unmet need that you could identify and how did you do that? (sorry, i am not sure, maybe this was already answered above :D)

@vclickr Hey Vipul, thanks for checking our product. You are absolutely right, there are many cool products that help product and outsourcing companies to plan and track their projects. And I have used most of the ones you mentioned. But none of them solve project estimation problem. Tools are mainly focused on helping teams to track but not estimate. We are helping teams to understand the scope, to create proper breakdown, to estimate timeline and cost, and what is more important to communicate this with a customer. P.S. I started Dowork because of my personal pain :)

Hey hunters, We are back to Product Hunt! I’m happy to announce the brand new version of Dowork.ai. First of all, thanks to everyone who tested the first version and provided valuable feedback. Based on your comments, we’ve completely redesigned the UX and added a few new exciting features. What's new: Now, you have an improved task breakdown flow You can group several tasks under one As well as use Phases to estimate bigger milestones Enjoy the slick new Gantt chart functionality And last but not least - share your estimations Let me tell you a bit more about the sharing functionality. Since a lot of our users were having a hard time showing their project estimations to their clients, we decided to build an interactive URL generator for them. Once your team is done estimating a project, click on the URL generator to get a link that shows all the details of your project estimation. Then, share the link with your stakeholders internally (e.g., CEO, CFO) and externally (e.g., partners, clients). Many more add-ons to Dowork.ai will be available in the coming weeks. @mushgev Congratulations on the launch! Can you please update the thumbnail GIF? It seems like the first frame of the GIF is a blank slide and that's why the thumbnail is not visible on the website. This happens because the GIFs do not auto-play. They play only on hovering :)

@mushgev @adityavsc We stumbled upon the same GIF bug when launching Our SaaS 2 weeks ago. We made a nice logo animation, but on PH’s main page it was blank! 🤬 Solution: You can cut first 6-10 frames of the logo (when the logo is not moving) with any GIF editor.

@mushgev @stanui Yup! Thanks for sharing the solution. The thumbnail GIFs do not auto-play and since it is a recent update, many community members have not noticed it yet.

This is def a pain point while starting new projects. Creating project scope documentation, requirements gathering, research & analysis docs, etc... But also a crucial phase that brings every party involved to the same level and determines how and when the project will evolve. I use various tools to make it happen, Miro, Slab, Dropbox for its timeline... Dowork seems like a nice product and will give it a try. PS: Small things I noticed that put a shadow to that excellent product video, and damages perfection: I shared the link in Slack, and seems like you don't have any metadata injected, no feature image, no title or description. So the link seems dull. Also in the landing page, you miss-typed Branding & Design as Banding & Design. 😌 Good luck.

@nicolasegosum We are working on Estimation Prediction problem now and we already have some results. The model accuracy is still not high but estimation prediction is the most important feature in our AI roadmap. Very soon we will deliver our first AI feature that will recommend estimation based on your past experience but you need to import your past projects via Excel, CSV or by integrating to Jira.

@mushgev Would be great to apply this AI/machine learning automatically and show it in a new JIRA field. And as the task changes (developer, status, etc) you can update the expected ETA.
