Sounds exploitative to me. Sounds like free labor.

Hi @school_4_ants ! Thanks for posting this comment, so I can explain this point πŸ˜„ Nothing is free, and no one is being exploited. When a company publishes a project, they have to choose one or multiple cash-prizes. It can be : - money - vouchers - merchandising - NFTs or tokens - Linkedin recommendations or any other professional support - Even a job offer ! Companies that offer greater rewards will attract the best talent! It makes sense! We can't reduce companies to just money as a quid pro quo, because more often than not, it's not only about the money for students. A letter of recommendation from the CEO of a big company may be more valuable to some. What do you think @school_4_ants ?
Hunter Carter
@ezzedine_cherif That sounds like a dystopian nightmare: people labor for a chance to earn something, rather than with the guarantee of reimbursment for their effort. Basically it's serfdom 2.0, congratulations.

@ezzedine_cherif @school_4_ants Appreciate the feedback Hunter. We'll be careful going forward. Our goal is really to enable anyone to highlight their skills and get hired on merits and skills rather than degrees and pedigrees.
Great way for new talent to access to cool things

Hi Product Hunters! I'm really excited to share Draft with you all ! Yann and I have met at Entrepreneur First 2 months ago, and we decided to focus on a problem that every student have experienced:
the chicken & egg problem when acquiring real professional experience.
You apply for an internship that will provide you with experience, but a CV with prior experience is still required before you apply.

How do we solve this ? Inspired by the hackathon model, we offer companies the opportunity to outsource micro-projects to talented individuals remotely and across industries.

It provides opportunities for individuals to build their professional portfolio with projects that align with their interests and goals.
On the other hand, It lets companies get quick & affordable insights on R&D, and also enables skill-based hiring of proven talent.
I hope you find this list helpful, and I would love to hear your feedback! Let me know what you think and if there are any ideas that you'd like to see added.

Thank you for taking a look!
