Drag Unlimited - Turn Gmail into your team's workspace

by

What’s new in Drag? Today’s release is the culmination of three years of feedback - it's a complete overhaul. We have built a better way to control teamwork giving email-focused teams, control of their work in one tool, one place and one way. In Gmail.

Hey everyone, Nick (Co-Founder @ Drag). We wrote our first line of code three years ago to build a tool that improves Gmail for individuals. Fast forward to today and we are building a tool that gives email-focused teams control of their work in one tool, one place and one way. We believe that there is a right way and a wrong way to control teamwork. Email-focused teams get pulled in different directions when they use lots of extra tools. They create different ways of working across the business. - They do not need lots of tools - They do not want to leave email - They do not want many ways to do the same thing Teams work best, united. Today's release does just that. It unites teams inside Gmail, to run their business across sales + support to marketing + project management in one clear, simple way. This isn't for everyone. But we do believe there is a big market exhausted with managing lots of tools, context switching out of email and forever creating new processes. We also think differently about pricing - it's $99 per month, company-wide (includes every feature, no user / month costs, no increased cost as your company grows). With all of this in mind, we release our latest and greatest version of Drag, today. I would love you to install Drag, in two clicks and try. We welcome feedback and the team will be available throughout the day to answer all of your questions :) Thanks Nick

Here is a quick three minute video to explain further also:

Thiago Schioppa
The best tool for sharing inboxes I've ever used! I strongly recommend it for teams. Its features are amazing and the cost-benefit is the best of the market. Keep rocking, Drag team =)
Nick Timms
@thiago_schioppa Woohoo, thanks Thiago!
Duda Bardavid
Shay Stibelman
Wow what a great idea! No more hunting around (pun not intended) for a good organizational tool for my projects. It's all right there in the inbox, and excellently made! Ingenious!
Nick Timms
@shay_stibelman Haha, thanks Shay. Thanks so much for kind comment :)
Fabien Busquet
Simple yet powerful! still considering price wise...
Duda Bardavid
@fabien_busquet Hey Fabien, thanks for the feedback. Are you looking to use it individually? We also have a Startup plan for solo users and small teams, are you aware of it?
Fabien Busquet
@dudabardavid1 Yes, we're considering the "Startup plan"... (about 15$/month, up to 5 users?)
Nick Timms
@dudabardavid1 @fabien_busquet Hey Fabian, it's actually a per user / month so it's $15 user / month
Karsten Busch
Love it.
Duda Bardavid
@buschi_hh so great to hear!
James Bowles
I am new to Drag, but I am already seeing that it could be very useful for managing communication across the various teams that I manage.
Nick Timms
@james_bowles Thanks James. Great to hear that there's an initial fit with you and your team.
Ben Jackson
Great product for team collaboration. Makes gmails shared emails and groups actually useful, allowing team members to see which emails have been dealt with, allocate team members to an email and set tasks and internally discuss an email between team members .. great product
Nick Timms
@ben_jackson4 🚀🚀 Thanks Ben, seems like Drag has found it is a fit with your team. I remember the demo a few months ago!
Duda Bardavid
@ben_jackson4 thanks Ben, great to hear Drag has been helping you and your team. We are here to help you in anything you need.
Christoph Fries
Drag is the one Gmail application that saves us from using a bunch of external tools. Our team manages tasks, todos, notes, trello style lists just inside Gmail.
Duda Bardavid
@christoph_fries thanks, Christoph, great to hear!
Colleen Carr
Can't wait to fully use it in my future workplace! It looks ingenuitive!
Nick Timms
@missccarr89 hey, thanks Colleen!
Kamel Sellaoui
Drag .....?
Duda Bardavid
@kamel_sellaoui that's so great to hear, thanks for the feedback!

Feedback: Great product for team collaboration. I am 2x more productive. My team was earlier grinding it out, and it just felt we had more follow ups to understand if we are on top of things and whos is doing what. Clutter free, organised inbox - manage with ease plus we are now more focussed on the task at hand. Task allocation, email sharing - helps me get done more on time and before time :) I love the freaking product. @lovedragapp - If you were a lady - I would get married to you right now.
Nick Timms
@lovedragapp @victor_c1 Haha, love this - it is exactly why Drag was built. Feels great to hear that the team's productivity is improving because of Drag.
Victor C
@lovedragapp @nptimms : You got me hooked. Period. Clean Product, Strong Use-case and Finally i get shit done. Mike Drop. Victor gets a beer.

Recently, I've been looking for a product that could do what my client specified. And I'm glad that I found DragApp! Their tutorials are helpful for someone who's new to such. I really enjoy the features that this product offers and I find this user-friendly as well. ❤️
Duda Bardavid
Hey @chelina_talavera that's very nice to hear. We are always happy to help if you need anything :)
Nagy Richárd
Pretty neat idea, this is pretty much Trello+Butler combined for Gmail.
Duda Bardavid
Hey @nagy_richard thanks for the compliment, hope you like the product!
Zubin Jacob
great product!
Duda Bardavid
@deleted-2435086 Thanks, Zubin! Appreciate the feedback.
Brandon Vanderford
Drag simplifies the office. It takes the needed functionality of four apps, and merges them all into one intuitive interface. Great for individuals, but transformative for teams. Highly recommend!
Duda Bardavid
Hey @brandon_v thank you so much for the feedback, it's really great to hear that Drag has been successfully replacing other apps for you. Feel free to send us feedback at any time!
James Hamzhie
FireSprint has been using Drag for about 6 months now. We process about 150 support emails per day and have a team of 6 using it. It works seamlessly to comment, assign and share emails with our team. Having separate boards and shared board allows us to stay organized keep all of our customer requests in order. We could not do it without a shared board and we believe that this is the best solution that we have worked with!
Duda Bardavid
@james_hamzhie this is so great to hear :) thanks a lot for taking the time to review us today!

Like the idea, still playing around with it, at the beginning I ran into an auth error due to gsuit settings, I switched to my personal account and it worked fine, but my gmail background is black so it looked a bit wired on it. For people that had zero knowledge about Drag or tech might be lost easily, examples of how and ways of using it from the very beginning on the home page might help. We still like the idea and will keep playing with it, but so far just by putting the email at the right spot helps a lot, Great job!
Duda Bardavid
@eric_hsu1 Hey Eric, have a look at this article for the auth error: https://help.dragapp.com/en/arti... We are working on supporting dark mode in Drag soon as well. Thanks for the feedback, please contact us if you need any help!
Eric Hsu
@dudabardavid1 got it worked, Admin > Security > API Permissions, adding DragApp Clintid from the error message, App Type: web application

I have been looking for productivity improvement tools for a while now. Have been following drag for a while now. This new interface is very promising and we immediately jumped on to it. Would love to see this becoming the standard tool for gmail productivity.
Nick Timms
@sanjay_goel "Standard tool for Gmail productivity" is bold :) Thanks for the kind words and keeping an eye on Drag as we progress.

I started working with Drag two weeks ago and subscribed at the end of the free trial period - first it was quite irritating to see the mailbox sorted like a scrum board but after a while I figured out how to use Drag in a way that enhances it best for me. So far I started three Drag Boards - features I love the most: tasks and notes, drag & drop for prioritising, color picker and the possibility to invite others. So far I didn't try the "group version" but I imagine that's really great for teamwork - especially within remote teams.
Duda Bardavid
@programcat_r great to hear you are enjoying it Susanne! Thanks for the feedback.
