A bit of a warning about this company: This is a *great* idea for a product, but unfortunately my experience with actually buying things ( bought their whiteboard sticker) from them has been bad. The product took quite a while to ship, and when it arrived, it was packaged so badly that it had been folded and creased during transport. When I sent an email requesting assistance (pictures, order number and everything) I received no reply - 11 days and counting. :(
@mpjme Hey Mattias - thanks for posting, we're glad you like the idea! Our shipping is at the mercy of the USPS, so while thousands of boards have made it to their final destinations in good working order (including through international customs) with the same packaging, bad things are bound to happen. Kyle and I are also the only two "employees" of DrawAttention, bootstrapping this company off the ground while still keeping our day jobs. This means we don't respond as fast as we should, and of course, 11 days is far too long. We're doing our best to bring new products to market (like the blackboard) while respond to our customers as much as possible. Kyle has emailed you back, and we'll get a new board out to you as soon as we can if needed. Thanks!

Are both options completely opaque, blocking the apple light from showing when it is on?
@benwtnb the blackboard covers the apple light best, but in really dim light you can still see it - your tests may vary. The light does definitely show through the whiteboard, but it is not as bright as when uncovered.

I've been using mine for a few months now, I've had some pretty amazing conversations with people I would have never talked to normally. When at a coffee shop I'll write something like, "Web Developer, come say Hi!" It's fascinating to see how quickly people will stop by and chat, or ask for help with something.
