Cool! This is really well done. 👌🏼 While conversational landing pages probably shouldn’t replace everything you’re doing on your website (if only because of the SEO impact), I can see how this type of conversational interface would increase engagement when used as the destination for paid advertising campaigns or lead forms. Great work, Drift team! Here’s a tip to other makers: if you’re looking to add something like this to your site without the overhead or cost of a complete tool like Drift, have a look at the Seedbelt HTML framework that @stsilent launched on here a year ago (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) that does almost exactly this without the vendor lock-in. Yes, Drift is excellent but sometimes you need something lighter. 🙂

I think this is going to be awesome to test against Ad > Sign-up campaigns where you can be clear about the deliverable/value in the Ad itself. Webinars, books, whitepapers, pdfs, quick event registration etc. It's a cool pattern interrupt too. I'd expect conversion to be hot whilst it's new!

@mike_seekwell we had one person get about 18% completion rate on the landing page conversation, and another anecdotal example of a customer spending 5 minutes building a landing page and filling a webinar in about 4 hours. Hoping to see more examples now that we've launched!

From our own campaigns, our Conversational Landing Pages are the fastest converting and best performing bots/landing pages in my 1.5 years at Drift. We just beat out the previous best performing Marketable Moment in terms of meetings booked before 10am, with 31% of the people who interacted with our Conversational Landing Page hitting a Conversation Qualified Lead (CQL) goal. @nicetr Landbot looks cool. I’m sure it’s great. Not having used that before, the difference seems to be that our Landing Pages come with Drift and all that Drift brings with it. Folks can claim a white paper, register for an event, or talk with their account manager from these just like they can do on the website pages we’ve served previously. Now. It’s just a more focused experience for campaigns that can adapt on the fly, or always turn into a live conversation.

Glad to see Drift take a fresh look at landing pages. Collectively B2B marketers have exhaustively tested every meaningful element of a landing page, and we're often happy when an A|B test delivers just single digit improvements. I was lucky enough to have early access to Drift conversational landing pages and I tried it for the promotion of an analyst report to a email list of about ~150,000 people https://rapidminer.drift.click/t.... It outperformed our traditional forms-based landing page as measured by metrics like completion rates. That's great, but the real win was that we were able to have meaningful real-time conversations with our customers and prospects by engaging them and answering questions while they were reading the report. Can't do that with a static landing page.

This is really interesting, and if it was more accessible (not in the pro plan) it would help a lot of would-be makers understand the product they are trying to build better.

@tabansi Our free and standard plans do still pack a lot of value for people who want to connect now with the people who are ready to buy now. Rather than hiring someone to be an assistant, some folks want to automate their qualification and lead capture. Lots of people have decided to hire Drift to "clone themselves 1000 times over" (and they do that with the pro plan).
