Hello There, DronaHQ is now into its 4th year of existence in low code space. Here is our short story: We started working on low code tooling in 2017 as we wanted to move up the abstraction layer to our already existing SDK for building mobile apps for internal use. 2018 march is when we launched our early beta of low code for our service engineers to use and build apps for our customers. by 2019 we did around 20 apps from our customers (mainly large & existing customers) and in march of 2019 we made the tool beta live and open for PLG motion. Fast forward to 2021 Q2 -> we started narrowing down our attention to building internal tools on the platform & doubled our energy on doing frontend apps for web and mobile, powering up our ORM like connector layer to connect to major data sources including graphQL, REST, RDBMS, NoSQL, etc. May 2022 -> we launch self hosted version of DronaHQ - 1 click docker deployable in your own infra. How are we different then other projects like retool, appsmith, tooljet? 1) frontend engineering is expandable on DronaHQ - it means you can create your own Ui widgets within the framework (not import them as react components) and this makes enabling all configurations on your Ui widgets 2) we enable building multi screen apps (so you can create multi screens with different types like tray, pop-up, menu 3) we have a full fledged work flow builder -> imagine building an entire sequence of steps behind a click visually 4) you can do a lot without really knowing javascript 5) our pricing plan has unlimited users across any plan 6) overall experience is completely different then most of the other tools Happy to hear your feedback/questions.
