Somebody told them that they were just a feature, but they didn’t want to listen. I think they will belly up soon, they still live because of inertia ...who the hell upvoted this. I’m sure they up-voters ain’t paying for a pro account.

Filemail.com > 50GB for free 🙂 Wetransfer.com > 2GB for free 🙂 Dropbox.com > 100MB for free... 🤔
Daniel Contreras
@nicocaramella Tresorit > 5 GB for free on web and 3 GB with native app for windows and mac for creating links directly on finder/file manager
Sae Min Ahn
just use https://send-anywhere.com/ 10 GB seemless point to point transfer

Any guarantees that it does not scan files and does not collect user data? I'd suggest to use Send by Firefox instead.

Beta : https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/... Live : https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/... You can even password protect transfer links and set an expiration date to encourage recipients to download the files. You'll get a link you can send to anyone—even if they aren't on Dropbox. After you send it, viewership stats let you see how many times the transfer's been accessed.

Does this mean I can send files that are not currently saved in my dropbox account? I'm curious to know how this differs from sending a link to the file if it is saved within your dropbox account... Anybody?
Jack Smith
@christopher_jones1 yes. it differs in that the user only gets a copy of the file with this. they won’t see all the future changes to the file in your dropbox

LOL 100 mb?
GlitterSignal
100MB seems a little underwhelming if I'm being honest [without upgrading]. We use https://fromsmash.com - which is unlimited and pretty fast. It's never let us down.
AbsZero
only 100MB for non-pro account. How ridiculous! Use https://send.firefox.com instead.
AbsZero
@inthenewsrants 100MB for free accounts. 100 GB for pro accounts. Read.
