Automating my wardrobe is kind of a cool idea. But isn't fashion about deciding on the look for yourself by going into stores to try the clothes on? There are some parts of life that I choose not to automate.
@davidjlowe Thanks for your idea!
We want to help everyone make decision quickly regarding their daily outfit. Think about Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs, their style is famous for its effectiveness and reducing decision time to 0. We try to bring that same experience to everyone but not by telling them wearing the same style but by showing them quickly what they can get from their closet for the event they are going to.
Another cool thing about the product is that it applies GAN model recommendation. The GAN model generates (draws) a new style that you likely want to wear and match it with the best available options. In brief, it can help generate the future styles you like. With this technology, we think we can recommend your daily outfit as well as potential outfits you may want to buy better than other recommendation products.
Last but not least, by showing people what they have in their closet, we also believe it will reduce the time when people make bad decision in buying things they already own.
@lequyan1991 Instead of getting my phone, opening the app and looking at a virtual closest that tells me what's in my closet, wouldn't I just open my closet. I sense from your message, you are going for a minimalistic approach. But this seems to take me in the opposite direction. Have you found a need for Lively yet? There could still be a pivot here.
