👋 Hey Product Hunt 👋 Nathan here (PM of eapy). On behalf of the eapy team, I’m excited to unveil our beta after a few months of development and iteration. Eapy Beta is currently available on Web, and features core capabilities such as multimedia uploads, MIDI sample generation, and board sharing. 📚 About Eapy Eapy is developed by a small team within Pozalabs. Pozalabs is an AI music generation startup and research lab based in Seoul, South Korea, that serves a mission to create a world where anyone can create and own music. At Pozalabs, we have developed 10+ models that have exclusively been trained on 1,000,000+ samples entirely produced by our in-house composers, ensuring all of our generated music is 100% copyright-free. You can check out our research at https://pozalabs.github.io/ComMU/. 🚀 Our team’s goals in building eapy are: - Develop an environment where AI music can be used to readily inspire and aid musicians, rather than entirely replace musicians via whole-song generation. We believe the music creation process is beautiful, and AI can help serve as a co-creator. - Design a workspace for all creators that utilize audio in their workflow to cross-collaborate and inspire each other. - Provide a space for hobbyists and independent creators to give their fans an interactive, multimedia perspective on their creative process. 🏠 Here’s how our first users have been using eapy: - Ideate and collaborate for their upcoming songs by collecting reference tracks, writing lyrics ideas, generating samples, and recording demos - Create a moodboard for their favorite artists - Collaborate between writers, producers, and musicians for a musical (where the end-product is multimedia and spatial by nature) - Provide fans a behind-the-scenes recap of their concerts (like our friends at Dabda have done) - Create an interactive mixtape - Storyboard their YouTube videos, especially when communicating audio mixing/panning 🎶 In today’s world, many artists are no longer confined to a single medium. A musician might also be a photographer, a poet, or a filmmaker. Their creativity is multidimensional, and the boundaries between art forms have blurred. The future of creativity, we believe, is one where artists can navigate their inspirations and expressions with the same fluidity that they create. 🎉 This is just the beginning — please try out our beta today :) 🎉

Congrats on the launch @eapynathan @dongeun9594 @yjcho @jiwoopark @nahyeun_lee. I like the collaborative approach for the creative process. How do you make sure that the generated outputs maintain a high-quality, human-like feel?
Dongeun Lee
@ashitvora Thank you for appreciating our collaborative approach! We ensure high-quality, human-like outputs by leveraging a proprietary dataset crafted by over 20 professional composers. We don't use any published songs for training our AI models. This dataset contains over 1 million carefully curated MIDI samples, which serve as the foundation for training our models. Additionally, the quality of the generated outputs is influenced by the prompts provided, allowing for tailored results. By generating outputs in MIDI format, we give users the flexibility to refine and personalize the music in their DAWs, maintaining a creative, human touch throughout the process.

The creative process is often associated with chaos. It's cool when there are tools to organize it all
Nathan Mai
@solodnev Thanks Stepan! BTW: loved testing out Remy a few days before our launch, too :)

Congrats on launching the eapy beta, Nathan and the Pozalabs team! 🎉 It’s exciting to see a tool that empowers musicians and creators by integrating AI in a way that enhances collaboration and inspiration rather than replacing the creative process. The focus on multidimensional creativity and bridging different mediums is so relevant in today’s world of versatile artists. The variety of use cases you’ve shared—from ideating for new songs to creating mood boards and providing interactive behind-the-scenes content—shows how flexible and powerful eapy is. The multimedia workspace and copyright-free, AI-generated music samples are a huge win for both professional creators and hobbyists. Wishing you massive success with the beta! Excited to see how eapy evolves to shape the future of collaborative, multidimensional creativity. 🚀🎶👏
Dongeun Lee
@williamrobertscott Thank you so much for your thoughtful words and support! We’re thrilled that you see the potential of Eapy to empower musicians and creators while enhancing, not replacing, the creative process. We’re eager to continue evolving Eapy and shaping the future of collaborative creativity. Stay tuned for what’s ahead!

Dongeun Lee
@feliciana_liu Thanks! I really appreciate it. Feel free to share any comments or feedback while using Canvas!

This is exactly what my music production workflow needed! 🎵 The visual organization is brilliant - finally I can organize my samples, references, and ideas in a way that actually makes sense. The 100% copyright-free AI music generation is a huge plus for quick sketches. Best part? The collaboration features make working with vocalists and other producers feel natural, not like we're sending files back and forth endlessly. Game changer for remote music production! 🎹
Dongeun Lee
@ethanyu Thanks! It really means a lot to me and my team. We're always open to hearing your feedback and finding ways to improve the service. We've got a big update coming soon—stay tuned!
How do you plan to scale the AI capabilities to handle more complex tasks in the future? And will there be any integrations with other popular platforms down the line?
Nathan Mai
@sujingshen Great questions! Utilizing natural language prompts was just the most intuitive way to introduce the AI features — in the future, we plan on introducing more complex features (such as allowing users to filter through our hundreds of metadata), enable multi-track generation, generate vocals, and more! If you have any requests/ideas, we'd love to hear any :) As for integrations, right now, we've just launched a new feature to include link embeds and in-app playback for select services, and in a few weeks, we're launching a feature that allows users to convert YouTube videos to audio and annotate them based on selected timestamps.
