@johnzach02 I don't think there's much of a feeling to shake, Zach. It's a pretty blatant copy of our design system. 🤷🏻♂️

@johnzach02 @tonydevincenzi @vietnam I’m not sure what other messaging platforms you’re using, but I use several that do not have an avatar that blinks, bobs up and down, has a multi-color bezel that animates around the eyes, and follows my mouse around the screen on a light blue background 🤔
@johnzach02 Thanks for the feedback, although I would disagree that it's a carbon copy. Truth be told that we explored a few different concepts for our "bot" and even found it difficult to find differentiate from the norm and what users expect. A google search will reveal a lot of consistency in overall bot design as well. I'm happy to share with you our previous designs and concepts as we went through multiple iterations on that alone.
There's a few reasons why we landed on AIDAN's design including the block shape for relevancy to blockchain, colors in accordance to our theme, etc. I would be lying if we didn't take inspiration from multiple sources. But we truly believe that our design has enough differentiation for all products to create their own personality and identity. As always, I'm happy to discuss this over a call as well.
@vietnam Can you point me to any other bots that were a source of inspiration? I'd also be interested in seeing any examples of bots that have animated gradient faces.

Cool product! Curious about the name. How do you guys plan to OWN "Coin" from a brand or keyword/seo standpoint? Seems like an uphill battle.

@vantoai Thank you! There’s beauty and simplicity to the Coin name that aligns with our overall mission (and even token). Hence our preference for this branding, even though it’s commonly used in our industry. And you’re right... it is so generic that it can be a nightmare for SEO. But at the same time, it’s so broad that no one has a stronghold on this name in the marketplace. With some of our targeted SEO strategies, we believe we can be more relevant and rank higher than the current brands using this name today.

@vietnam You have to double check your website in Safari. Not sure if it's just me, but the bot is not asking me anything. I feel like the page doesn't load completely. In Chrome it works perfectly. Good luck!
@gehrigkunz Thank you! We are a centralized service and manage the storage of private keys and PIN's on a secure private (non-public facing) network with restricted servers using Google Cloud services. Look forward a lot of new updates in the near future including buying crypto directly from credit/debit cards.
@markamc Great feedback thank you. We’ve done some testing with students at UC Berkeley, UT Austin, etc. and it’s been positive to-date. Assuming that feedback changes, we are always open to adjusting.
As for mobile platforms, we decided to go with responsive web until we obtain product market fit. This was all in effort to save on costs, focus, etc. As you are aware, costs are > 3x once attempting to support all platforms. Usage will give us direct feedback on what features to focus on. From there, we’ll start rolling out support for iOS and Android. It is our priority to get there ASAP.

It's a beautiful project. I've been following him for years. It will come to much more beautiful places. They have an excellent CEO. So they did great things in the short term. Long-term success will continue. I'm sure of that.
This is very interesting. It's a great idea. I'm curious how you plan to compete against the giants like Coinbase and Binance?
@alexanderyaroshevich Why compete with them? Just partner up with them. Coin Assistant is not directly an exchange in my understanding.
@alexanderyaroshevich @brandfort We actually are a wallet + exchange + AI-assistant. Partnering is definitely a strong option as well.
As for competition, the average consumer has communicated that current solutions on the market are just too complicated for them to join the industry. We believe that our usability and experience are far more superior to the options available today. With our focus on Gen XYZ, additional future features, and inclusion of traditional financial services... we'll be able to carve a niche for ourselves in the unserviced 98% of consumers.
A wallet, exchange, and AI-assistant? This is awesome and the experience is super friendly. Average consumers are going to eat this up.
