Data privacy and security is an important conversation for an engagement tool like Engage. Here are some ways we currently handle this:
- Data is encrypted (HTTPS/SSL) in transit between services we use internally and third-party services we integrate with.
- Even though we are a customer data destination and not a source (we do not transmit customer data to any of the integrations we support. They send data to us), we ensure the CDPs and services we integrate with are well-vetted services.
- We provide features to ensure each organization is well protected from unauthorized access and that data is restricted across team-member roles. There is also a log of every team member's activity within each organization.
- We obtain explicit user consent for data collection and sharing as detailed in our privacy policy. Businesses we onboard are reviewed to ensure they have a clear data policy that conforms to use on Engage.
- We comply with relevant data privacy and engagement regulations. We are in the process of getting some compliance certification.
