Fortnite for iOS is a 100-player Battle Royale game from Epic Games, just now released for iOS on a rolling basis. It's like Hunger Games, but with 100 of your friends.
Controls are extremely difficult to get used to but it's cool that I can jump into a game and have all the skins and everything from my primary account. I would recommend NOT playing with a friend on PC or console as you'll be in those lobbies and get wrecked. No way a mobile user can aim or build fast enough to compete with a keyboard/mouse or even controller player. But it's cool to buy skins and stuff while mobile too.
Worth noting that you need to have signed up for their beta test and received an invite to the same email address as your Epic Games Fortnite account).
I signed up a few days ago and received an invite yesterday. Not sure how many batches they're sending out after that.
@benmlevy I didn't get an invite but I just downloaded it from the App Store and logged in with my Epic Games account, easy peasy. This is the store link: Fortnite by Epic Gameshttps://itunes.apple.com/it/app/...
Iโve been a fan of Guns of Boom on iOS for a while. Iโve been patiently waiting for Fortnite tovmake it to iOS (and eventually tvOS) for a while. So Iโm happy to see this release.
The aim assist is crazy on mobile. It also plays in a completely different way since fast building is much harder. It'll be a good airport time waster ๐

I really feel this is one of those product that it exist on mobile only because Epic Games _can_ do it. It's a FPS, a cross-platform FPS!Will it be fun on mobile? Will it perform on mobile? Who cares, let's do it, Unreal Engine runs on iOS and Android anyway...
Really far from the experience on PC... I guess they had to release this before smoothly going towards skins monetisation. Can't wait to see how they'll do better than Steam and Blizzard ;)
