Hey Hunters! This is Victor, growth marketer at Exalate. So what is Exalate? It’s the only decentralized two-way synchronization solution for ITSM tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, GitHub, and so on. We understand the struggles you might face when it comes to implementing in-house solutions; the time, the resources, and the potential errors that could come into play. That’s the very reason why we built Exalate in the first place: to provide an alternative, turning the complex process of integration into a manageable, instance-by-instance operation. You can set up Exalate in minutes and start straight away, and tailor it to your integration requirements on the go. Or you can simply pass over all the hard work to a team of experts and have them take care of the A-Z of your integration (no matter how complex your use case is). Instead of worrying about maintenance or rising costs, focus on what matters the most to your business. What are some common use cases Exalate supports? ✅ Escalation e.g. Support/Development alignment ✅ Project collaboration e.g. supply distribution and change management ✅ Information consolidation e.g. open-source project management ✅ Service management e.g. incident management SaaS Our unique decentralized model is what makes us different from any other solutions. You will retain complete control over the data you share with other parties, and have a similar level of control over the data you receive on your end. We have different configuration modes to support different users: - Basic mode (Free Plan): Suitable for out-of-the-box basic scenarios - Visual mode: Drag-n-drop interface for straightforward use cases & centralized configuration - Script mode: Groovy-bases scripting engine for unlimited customizability Our users absolutely love the Script mode, because it empowers them to implement use cases of any complexity and they learn their way around it quite fast. We have made it our commitment to focus on project management and ITSM tools because we believe that smooth collaboration is the key to a successful business. And as the world rapidly progresses towards an interconnected network of companies, it only becomes clearer that this is the only way - and the smartest - way forward. So let’s sync! Victor

So it's like zappier? What does it do differently? Im just getting into connecting apis. So im a bit of a rookie in this area.
Victor Cucu
@sentry_co Exalate is a two - way sync vs Zappier that's only one way. Plus is a decentralised integration app. It's installed and managed by each side of the connection separately, giving you autonomous control over both outgoing and incoming information.

@victorcucu7 Aha. Really? Hmm. That's really nice! But an unfamiliar concept I guess. Will try it. Thanks! One more question . what are the top 3 things people use exalate right now?
Victor Cucu
@sentry_co they are using mainly to integrate different ITSMs, based on the different use cases. Usually, our clients love the fact that is fully customisable through groovy scripting, it is a secure, and two-way sync, with full control on both ends. It is mostly used to connect teams that use Jira, ServiceNow, AzureDevops, Zendesk, GitHub and Salesforce.

@victorcucu7 @sentry_co Let me chime in for Victor here :) 1. Connecting support and dev teams, basically to ensure simple escalation processes, faster response time and ticket closure, and as a result - customer retention. 2. Project collaboration, is very typical for external connections: I want to build this thing but we don't have anyone internally with enough expertise in this area, so I'll collaborate with this company that knows everything about this. We use Jira, they use Azure DevOps for task tracking - no problem we're gonna use exalate to have a wholesome view on each side. 3. Information consolidation: M&As, branches, even internally when top management wants to know what their mid-managers are doing, but don't want to talk to them 😅 Does this cover it? :)

@victorcucu7 So I can add it to my GitHub actions? or? Could I connect a twitter feed <-> exalate <-> slack and then reply in the slack to twitter?
Exalate seems to be a game-changer for teams using multiple platforms. How does it handle real-time data updates between different platforms?
Mariia Onyshchenko
@ricardo_luz I think it's better our Product Owner picks this up. @francis_martens_exalate could you please pick up the question from @ricardo_luz?
Francis Martens
@ricardo_luz There are 2 modes that exalate can operate - poll or push. The push model is based on events and webhooks, which can handle real time updates. Only a couple of trackers provide this capability. Hope this helps

So it's like zappier? What does it do differently? Im just getting into connecting apis. So im a bit of a rookie in this area.
Victor Cucu
@azmat_ullah6 it is two-way integration, Zappier allows only one way.
Mihai Marinescu
I can see an use for this, especially in big companies.
Victor Cucu
@mmarinescu88 for any company, it is a useful tool, say no more to manual work, secure and robust integration, very revolutionary app.

One limitation of ConnectX is that it may require additional configuration and setup for certain platforms, which can be time-consuming. To improve this, providing pre-built connectors and simplifying the setup process for popular platforms would greatly enhance user experience and reduce the implementation time. Additionally, offering comprehensive support and troubleshooting resources would help users resolve any issues more efficiently. Let me know what you think about this.
Congratulations on the launch team Exalate!🚀🚀
