I've been tinkering with Excel dashboards for the last few months because I noticed that there were virtually no templates out there that looked good enough that I'd want to use them. Lots of funky 90s design, clip art, etc. I figured a copy-pasteable template that looked a bit more modern would get the job done for most Excel users.
It's pretty easy to use. You just have a big list of charts segmented by color. You can copy paste them into your own report, customize them, and change the source data to your own.
If you run into issues there are some instructions/notes/links to tutorials.
There are also headers, different background colors, icons, color palettes (with RGB values) and tips/tricks.
It's basically a really detailed style guide powered by real sample data.
There's only a 'dark' theme right now, but if there's enough interest I'll do a 'light' version that will work with lighter colored backgrounds/themes.
Also, I have a tiny audience, so I'm actively seeking affiliates/referral opportunities if you want a free copy.
On a related note: feedback is more than welcome. Just message me with your thoughts. If your suggestion makes it into a new version of the dashboard I'll send ya a free copy.
