Excelitaire - Play solitaire, while others think you're in spreadsheets

by

Solitaire has always been a popular game to relax and challenge yourself. Now you can play it at work, while making it look like you're working in spreadsheets! It's an easy and subtle way to take a break to re-focus.

We launched an initiative to tie casual games to memory and attention goals. Our first game is a classic one, solitaire. We originally built this for our family and relatives to play. But then a friend had told us how he was chewed out by his manager for playing a game of solitaire to take an innocent work break. We've been lucky to manage numerous teams, and have been guilty making false judgements when games or videos are played on computer screens. We thought creating a version of solitaire where it looks like you're in spreadsheets would not only be kind of funny, but it's also our subtle way of saying breaks are okay and in fact good for productivity. Of course, excelitaire should not be overplayed as that would be counterproductive, but we think it's a simple and quick game that lends itself well to taking quick, fun breaks. Hope you enjoy, and would love any feedback or requests!
