Hey Product Hunt! Jacob and I had a lot of fun building this interview simulation and we'd love to hear what you think of it!

@stervyc Hey Stephen, for someone new to interviewing this gives a great idea on how to get creative at interviews to talk about interesting different choices, edge cases! These examples are wonderful!

Bandersnatch of PM Interviews! Love the idea.

Great idea, only con that I can find is that the videos seem to be in 1080p. I'm from Bangladesh, Even though I have a somewhat good internet connection, video that is 1080p (60fps) can take a while to load, automatic video resolution (like Netflix) would be nice.

Like the idea of simulated interviews. Logged onto the website, got the simulation with data analyst. Looking forward to more such simulations. Wish you the best @stervyc
Stephen
@amarsaurabh Thanks Amar! Did you beat it :)?

@stervyc This is ingenious! Wish I had a resource like this when I was prepping for PM interviews. Looking forward to more content in the Simulator!
Stephen
@phoebexyao Thanks Phoebe!! We're excited to play around with the concept more :)

Love this! (and love Exponent!) Need a tool to send feedback or report bugs in the experience, but I'm enjoying it so far :)
Stephen
@daniela_maldonado2 Thanks Daniela! Would love your thoughts on a good UI for adding feedback
Neriyah Oren
Main feedback: 1. Video is very amateur and script mistakes 2. What can I learn from the steps I took? It took me X steps to get to the answer. What is the average # of steps that people took in order to find the solution? 3. More explanation of why I should have started with X instead of Y. Using this data to improve my PM knowhow. 4. Just saying that after slicing the data no correlation was found doesn't really help. What else could be added here? There is more stuff I could write. Let me know if you need some user for research.

Very cool!
Stephen
@abhra Thanks Abhra :)!
Alex Papageorge
Cool! Is there a feedback loop for the interviewer?
Stephen
@alex_papageorge Hey Alex - what do you mean exactly?
David Guerrero
Sooooo cool. Congrats to the team!

Ok, I was going to be a bit more critical there, but this 'crash loop' joke really cracked me up, great job :)

@marissa_schmidt Thanks Marissa!

I love the idea. Games make things easier to learn! Great for abstract things like interviews. Just like how great investment games are at teaching you how investing works. Why 'tell' when you can 'show'? Great work.
Barak Hazan
Wow it was so cool! hopefully to get interview simulator like this in Hebrew language :-)
