This reminds me of when Rabbit 4.0 did co-viewing. Sean Parker also did a great version of this idea called Airtime .
Now it's being baked into messaging apps, it seems destined to go mainstream, especially with everyone stuck inside these days.
And of course there's Netflix Party on the web.
There was also Uptime for YouTube.
I expect all the platforms will add co-viewing soon enough, don't you think?
