Liked this product, small utility, but so much sense, good luck with it! I think it would be cool to add extra statistics like tracking the most consuming energy app. For example where user was the most active on base of mouse/keyboard stats, but it's only idea :)

Why I make Eye Monitor? I used to consistently work on my MacBook for long hours and not take respite away from work. At the end of the day, my back was killing me and my eyes were dry. So I thought I should have a reminder to remind me of taking a break. But I am a lazy guy. I don't like manually setting a timer. For example, if my colleagues come to my seat and have a chat with me, or I leave my seat to grab a drink, I always forget to pause the timer and forget to start a timer when I come back to work. I want something more automated.

What is Eye Monitor? Eye Monitor is a Mac app that automatically monitor your fatigue according to your behaviors and remind you to take a break when you continuously work for too long.

How does Eye Monitor work? Eye Monitor automatically detects your keyboard and mouse usage to determine whether you are using computer. If you continuously using for more than the maximum time you have set, you will receive a notification or full screen reminder. Every time you don't use keyboard or mouse for a minute, your fatigue value will decrease. So you just need to leave your computer, and when you come back you will see your fatigue value decrease.

Features Eye Monitor offer multiple ways to remind you: - Full screen reminder - Notification - Dock icon - Status bar icon Indicator in Dock and Status Bar - Icon in the Dock and Status Bar indicates your real-time Fatigue. - If you continuously use Mac, Fatigue Figure will rise until 100%. - Have a rest (not using computer) can decrease the Fatigue value.

Customization - You can customize the fatigue threshold, break time, reminder style, notification interval and so on.

Tips Eye Monitor may not so accurate according to your type of work. You can adjust the fatigue threshold accordingly. For example, if you find that the fatigue is difficult to raise to the threshold value you have set and you seldomly receive a notification, you can reduce the threshold a little bit.

Limitations Activities such as watching videos or reading documents without any keyboard or mouse event is not detectable for Eye Monitor.

About Privacy Basically Eye Monitor is a local app. The only network connect needed is for subscription. So you can trust Eye Monitor for any usage.
