Fanout makes it easy to build realtime APIs and apps. The product is a cross between a reverse proxy and a message broker. Receivers subscribe to channels, and published data is delivered in realtime. The magic is in Fanout’s proxy-based design, which makes it possible to build secure and reliable realtime APIs that leverage your API stack.

Hi PH, Founder of Fanout here. I’ve been working on Fanout since 2011, we were last hunted in 2015 (!) and wanted to share what’s happened in the last two years. Fanout is server-side tech to add realtime push to apps, APIs, microservices, or any endpoint in your architecture. We’re like a CDN for push. Since 2015 we’ve made numerous improvements to our offering: * We created a unique reliable streaming mode, using your API backend as a backstore. * We put out a set of new SDKs to make integration easier. * Our proxy server is much more performant and compliant.
