Design like a pro with figr.design! More than just screenshots. Each design you see on Figr can be copied to Figma and edited any way you want. Browse through popular apps and get tailored recommendations to find the best inspiration.
Hey there, Product Hunters! 😸
We're super excited to introduce you to the new version of figr.design, our solution to help you fasten your design process!
As a UI Designers, we’ve all browsed through websites like Dribbble for UI inspiration, only to find that most designs are not editable and unrelated to real-world products. We end up recreating designs from scratch.
Figr doesn’t provide you just screenshots. Every single design you see on Figr is fully editable in Figma. With one click you can copy the frame into clipboard and paste it in Figma. You can mix and match the screen accordingly.
Now, we are introducing editable designs of mobile apps! 🎉
We have over 200+ Apps and 3000+ fully editable screens organised by their UI patterns.
You can easily find the best inspiration for our research query by browsing through our collection. We’ve also added Autopilot - a beta feature to simplify design research, where you get tailored recommendations for any product research query.
Figr is created to simplify design research and decision-making. It's your one-stop solution for design inspiration, research, and editable files, freeing you to build great products.
We’ll soon be launching more products to our suite to simplify different parts of the design process. Stay tuned :)
Figr is ideal for UI designers, UX researchers, developers, product managers, and entrepreneurs who want to fasten their design process.
We’ve worked really hard to pull this off. Our design team recreated these screen designs to give you the best collection of editable interfaces.
We wanted to launch it fast and are eager to get your feedback to build further. Apologies if there are any bugs or glitches.
Please give your feedback or report any bugs at hi@figr.design
To celebrate, we're offering a 20% off on annual plans for the coming week, just use the code KITTY20OFF at the checkout.
Keep on designing and inspiring! ✨
@moksh_garg Great Idea and an amazing product! Was exactly looking for such a tool when I came across figr . I'll start using it right away and send some feedback to you! Looking forward!
Wow - from the blurb, I thought you'd figured out a way to go from flat screenshots of apps to editable Figma designs (with AI, machine learning, or something). The fact that you did "something that doesn't scale" as Paul Graham would say, and just went on a major sprint to do these by hand is inspiring. I'm sure your design team has gotten crazy good and fast at Figma through this exercise! I didn't see a roadmap or way to tell how frequently you release new content and how many designs you release each time. Regardless, well done!
@alexcue Hey Alex, thanks for your comment. We did automate some parts of the design process, but yes there was a lot of manual effort that went into designing the final screens. Yes, we went on a full design sprint, and are lucky to have some of the best designers on onboard. We'll be launching interfaces of some well-designed products every other week.
@jackypan1989 Thank you Jacky, You can explore all the apps in the search bar from the header. Every single screen you see on Figr is editable in Figma.
I hope it helps you in fastening your design process :)
Very cool product! Not perfect but can speed up ideation by a lot at the early stages. With better / best-in-class examples and better quality, can be something our agency subscribes to! We use mobbin a lot but this tool can be a whole another level!
@maxdo Hey Max, thankyou for your feedback :)
Yes, we are still quite young. All of it was pulled together in three months. This is Mobbin but completely editable. We're expanding to more screens and creating better-structured layers day-by-day.
@moksh_garg Awesome! Layers may not be actually as relevant, to me for sure. What Id have liked to see, personal is the accuracy of imported styles - shadows, gradients etc.
Just tried it with the Product Hunt design file - really cool stuff. Seems like it will be very useful in quickly making realistic preliminary wireframes using design patterns and UI elements pulled from other popular apps.
I can see myself Frankenstein-ing an app design using components from many different popular apps. Ex: "I want an app that has a home page feed like Product Hunt with posts like Instagram but text editing like Notion and comment threads like Twitter" and being able to quickly pull - and adjust - those components to mesh together.
Gonna keep playing with the free version for now but looks good so far!
@hashem_selim Thank you Hashem :)
I think your comment perfectly describes what we are trying to achieve with Figr. Anyone can get inspiration for a specific UI pattern from the best-designed apps and mix and match according to their needs. We also have Autopilot feature in Beta, which do all this on a product level.
Please do explore, would love to hear your further thoughts on this!
Congratulations on the successful launch! This product appears to be an excellent source of design inspiration and an opportunity to explore the implementation of lesser-known design patterns. @moksh_garg
This is really cool. So many times I’ve gone to look at products I like and pinch some UI inspiration but then make from scratch in Figma. Love. Hope I don’t become an all out copycat 😂
Figr.design seems like an amazing platform for designers, offering more than just screenshots with the ability to copy and edit designs in Figma. With a wide range of popular apps and tailored recommendations, it's the perfect place to find inspiration and design like a pro. Can't wait to explore Figr and take my design skills to the next level!
WELL ... First of all, congrats on the launch! Launch day is exciting! Second of all, this looks amazing, I need to try it ASAP, love the concept and how you are presenting it! Thanks for this one.
