Let's be honest, who creates the best product? Of course, not one founder, but a team. And not just a team but a well-coordinated team of professionals who believe in their product.
🚀 When we launch our startup, we think about sales, development, and investors, but we rarely think about team development. The main thing is to hire someone to do the job. We often forget that only outstanding teams create the outstanding product. And often, a bad idea in the hands of a great team is reborn into something wholly new and achieves incredible success. So why do founders pay so little attention to team development?
📖 Let me tell you one story. I founded my first company at the age of 18. And, of course, I didn’t think about HR at all then. The company grew, and new people appeared, but we did not deal with HR issues in any way. One evening, I read a book by Jim Collins, "From Good to Great," and remembered the phrase: "First Who, Then What." After that, I started looking for solutions for hiring employees and team development. It was difficult for me to find a solution that was perfect for me, so I tried everything. And this has already given results:
✔️ We reduced our time spent on hiring yet improved the quality of new hires. Almost everyone now completes the probationary period successfully.
✔️ We began to spend much less time on internal communication in the team on various issues since all documents, reports, and applications could now be received by employees online.
✔️ We started noticing the most active, talented, and promising employees. The results and achievements of employees could be compared visually.
✔️ The company's security and data protection has been greatly improved. Now, everything was stored and managed in one place.
❌ There was only one problem: We had to use many solutions and pay separately for each one. Most of them did not have integration between themselves, or the integration worked extremely poorly. I had to check the data and transfer it manually constantly. And universal solutions were incredibly expensive, as they were more focused on large and medium-sized businesses. Therefore, I started thinking about developing our own internal HR system, which would significantly increase the efficiency of our team.
🌎 But it so happened that I had to leave my country and start a new project from scratch. Then, I decided to implement my idea for everyone, not for internal use. This idea led to the creation an affordable and efficient universal HR platform.
🔥 With your feedback and our desire, I hope we will help entrepreneurs unite and build superhero teams that create innovative products to transform the world. 🦄 Because only the best teams win, not ordinary.
Thank you, and happy hunting!

@nickanisimov Wow, Nick, your passion for building superhero teams and transforming the world through innovative products is truly inspiring! It's refreshing to see a founder who recognizes the importance of HR in the success of a company. Your dedication to streamlining HR processes and making them accessible to all entrepreneurs is commendable.
I can't wait to see how FirstHR helps businesses create outstanding teams and achieve extraordinary results. Here's to the future of teamwork and innovation! 🚀🌟
@nickanisimov Hi, Nick. FirstHR is a totally new all-in-one HR solution, bringing together every HR process from hiring to letting go in one user-friendly interface. Congrats! 🎉
@10xmarketer We are currently looking for integration partners and trying to add our own solutions. We will definitely integrate very popular solutions among startups.
This sounds interesting to us as we don't have a designated HR person in the 18-person company.
One small feedback, If I try to zoom into the images in the feature section, it always jumps to the recruit section, so I can't check other features, which I would need as they are not visible in the small version.
I'm using MacOS and the newest Chrome browser
I like what I see. Congratulations on the launch, @nickanisimov. You take care of most of the stuff. As a startup, our processes are also around compliance and policy management, such as workplace relationships, attendance management and Reimbursement. I would strongly refer you to these names for inspiration: Ripling, Darwin Box, Keka HR and Lattice.
@sentry_co Thanks for your feedback! I always thought that doing so was not entirely ethical. 🙂
I sometimes see such signs on websites and understand perfectly well how they did it. Perhaps the market works differently. I thought about this after your comment.
Thank you!
Huge congrats on the launch (and happy birthday @nickanisimov)! FirstHR looks great, and I love your commitment to keeping a free tier for small teams, which I'm sure will be super helpful for them as they get started and scale up. (And of course, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing The Office references on the site too.) I look forward to seeing what's next for you and the FirstHR team!
Very rare to find well-built-out products launching here (with generous free tiers as well). Just curious, do you have any third-party integrations planned for future releases? Either way, bookmarking this for when I start to build out my team.
I have some experience using Personio, would you say they are a competitor?
Also, what kind of country specific requirement do you (plan to) support? Thinking about things in regard to being an employer and paying taxes that must be reported monthly to the appropritate government agency.
@stpe Thanks for your question! Yes, they can be called competitors, but we work in different markets, at least I think so. Our platform is primarily adapted to US laws; in the future, we plan to adapt it for the European Union.
