Hey ?makers,
This looks great! Just wondering if you support workouts from Apple Watch? As in, it syncs with the Health app and gets workouts and then I can add the extra data?
@connorjewiss hey hey! Not yet. I want to start supporting Apple Health and Google Fit from 3.0 version (starting next year) and starting with weight tracking and so on. Hoping to get there!
What's new in 2.0?
π¨ Complete re-design (just compare it to the previous launch: https://www.producthunt.com/post...)
π Exercise statistics & charts
ποΈ Routines
π½οΈ Video instructions for +300 exercises
β±οΈ Rest Timer between sets
β²οΈ Time / distance exercises
π Full Spanish translation
πΈοΈ New landing page
3.0 will be coming during 2022 and other features are already in the works. Hope you enjoy the app!
Ask me anything here :).
@gerosan hey! I might create a new page at the end of the year for 3.0. To be honest I did not think about it. It would be nice to have a page keeping track of new upcoming features but I did not have time to set it up yet. I can share what I have in mind for now (and in progress already):
- (In Progress) Track weight & fat mass with Apple Health and Google Fit
- Automatic backup and restore
- Sign up & sign in & share subscriptions
- FitHero routines
- Dropsets and supersets
- Export data & charts in beautiful PDFs
- Videos & images from a server
- QR Codes
@ferrannp This is all great info Ferran! Thank you for sharing. No worries, I was more so curious on what page I should follow going forward. Honestly, I think just one page with the sections outlining your "release/version notes) would be ideal in my perspective.
Been using FitHero since @ferrannp started developing it, it's been my gym companion ever since. My favourite feature is the Routines one, I just have to select one set of exercises when getting into the gym and start crossing them out. No wondering or wandering around.
This looks great!
I want to move over from another fitness app (FitNotes Android) - is there a way I can import my existing data so I'm not starting from scratch. (FitNotes exporting as a CSV, so CSV import functionality would be really useful)
@edward_stevens1 hey! It would be probably complicated. We would have to match all FitNotes ids to FitHero ids. You can compare how their CSV looks to the JSON file you backup from FitHero. Do you have lots of data?
