hey to all the community ๐Ÿ’ Iโ€™m super excited to post my first project on Product Hunt! When I start learning design the first question was what tools I should use? I researched on Google, Prototypr.io, and Product Hunt, asked in design communities. With the power of these resources, I could find amazing tools which nobody knows before. Now, it's the most comprehensive collection I've ever seen. ๐Ÿ˜ It's still open-souse, so everyone can bring changes.

I'm the part of the team and can be a bit biased. But this is the biggest design tools list so far with the best tools, explanation of the design tasks and huge variate of free offerings. I open it daily and use for my design tasks.

Sure, please send more tools ๐Ÿ’› That's the main idea to keep it open source. @vladimir_berezovsky1 made the site auto-updated, so every time someone sends a PR, it will be available on the site. Also, we'd love to feature more great tools in the design community.

While it was very popular as well, not many people actually send us new materials ๐Ÿ˜„ Probably, marketing people don't like GitHub as much as I like. So it's updated mostly by me and Valia.

@meetchopra indeed, we already saw that for some people it's hard to use GitHub for the first time. Probably, I'm very biased on this platform ๐Ÿ˜‚ as I'm using it for a long time. Maybe some "submit a project" form on the site will work.

@meetchopra Thanks for the feedback! That definitely makes sense! We'll consider an option of bringing an easier way to contribute to everyone who is not familiar with GitHub. At the same time, we'd love to keep GitHub PR flow as it makes it easier to discuss and collaborate on every contribution. Maybe we could come up with an easier way to create those PRs via the website.

Pros:

Simple design Well categorized Easy to see what is free
