We spent many months digging into how we can help build "impact" businesses through our pre-seed accelerator program, and the first thing we discovered was a general confusion over what "impact" means for startups. So we set out to create a simple definition for what constitutes an "impact business": 1. The mission aligns with one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals (https://sdgs.un.org/goals) 2. The offering directly influences a measurement of impact, an Impact Key Performance Indicator (iKPI). 3.
