Freeletics is the app that will get you in a better shape not only physically but mentally too. It will make you a plan for training depending on your availability, your space and your workout level. it will evaluate you after every one of your workouts, so you can set goals and most of all, achieve them.

So glad to see this here. Freeletics is my number #1 favorite workout app. I've been using it for 4 months. The workouts are really challenging, just try one and you'll instantly feel this is the most effective one ever after the end of the workout. There're loads of workouts to do in Freeletics, each time you perform a workout, you will be trying to beat your last personal best, so the workouts never gets easier (which is a good thing to keep you challenged all the time). The best part about Freeletics compared to other workout apps is that Freeletics have an active community you can get inspired by. Last but not least you'll see your body transform after 15 or more weeks of working out with Freeletics. The results are real.

This is an underrated fitness app that I came across a few days ago via a friend. I've been looking for something that's designed really well and is curated to my fitness goals and not one that's already set in place. @rrhoover I see your gym snaps all the time. What do you think? :-)
Philipp Hagspiel
@_shahedk Awesome that you discovered us! Not only do we curate the training plan to your goals but also to your individual characteristics such as starting fitness level and movement skills as well as to your performances. We constantly work on and iterate our coaching algorithm. Our goal is to fully adapt the training to your very personal life circumstances - every single day.

I might give this a spin. I've done insanity a few times and generally liked it. The onboarding process for this app is very nice.
Koin Breyer
@erictwillis Thx for your positive feedback! Actually we are AB-testing two onboarding processes at the moment… what did you like about it?

I'm a Freeletics user since February 2013. I've been fascinated with their launch strategy from the beginning on. They started out with a simple newsletter that suggested weekly workout schedules, which they turned into PDF 15-weeks guides to figure out if people are willing to pay. By building strong local communities beforehand, they were able to turn these PDFs into more than half a million € of revenue: money they used to build apps for iOS and Android. Many of their product decisions seem very thorough (2x2m workouts, ghost mode, beat your last time) and I believe they will be a strong player in the global fitness market soon. Way to go, guys!

I love this :)

What's the intention behind the "clap clap" branding? I find it intriguing. It could either work really well, or fail tremendously (I guess that goes with anything).
Pierre Dominique Ostrowski
@crixlet ClapClap is the "handshake" of Free Athletes and a greeting sign. It can also show your appreciation for the hard work of others and it links us together in social and respectful community. It allows you to cheer/like workouts of others within the app. And in the end it shows your identity as a Free Athlete. I really love it because if you go to another city and see people doing Freeletics with a "clapclap" you show that you are part of the movement no matter where you come from. I just recently experienced this again in Paris a couple of weeks ago.
Ben Ho
@crixlet The "Clap clap" is quintessentially Freeletics'. And just saying it's a "success" is an understatement.

The site is beautiful - so I want to be excited about the workouts! :-) But I have to admit, I'm disappointed to have such a friction free 'set-up' (FB login, 3 questions to tailor my workout) only to be forced to buy before I try. Why not give people 2 weeks to try the workout? Or even one week. The price point is great, but the need to add a credit card at that point creates friction. Would love your perspective on this.
Koin Breyer
@corleyh Thx for your feedback! Actually you can go two paths with more (Coach - based on fitness test) and less individualization (free). The first free workout is personalized (and you'll get a few more via email over the next few weeks) – so far, you can only see this on the app. We'd love to add a trial in the future, now you already can return the Coach in the first 14 days when buying via our website. Would you prefer having your first training experience within the Coach already?
Kelly Kuhn-Wallace
@koinfreeletics Agreeing here with @corleyh. If you haven't yet, test that, and moving the credit card post-trial, etc. Right now the options aren't crystal clear which could be hurting your conversions. (There are so many bad fitness apps IMHO that I'm hesitant to even download nonetheless pay for another one even if it's inexpensive. Some of the onboarding and acquisition challenges you face aren't about you - they're about your less worthy competitors!)
John Manoogian
@kkdub @corleyh Thanks for the feedback! A trial is definitely something we're looking into, as well as our free user strategy. We want to eliminate anything that would prevent our users from experiencing our product. For now, I would suggest downloading the app and logging in with your account there, I think you'll both find the onboarding process via the app more intuitive for the user. We would be curious to get your feedback on the app version as well, as we just implemented some updates to make the onboarding experience better for the user.
Aaron Hanson
@jmanoogian1 @corleyh +1 the trial option. I went through the signup process and didn't want to pull out my CC quite yet w/o seeing some examples. I then realized after some clicking around that I had access to the free account.. A trial would be great!
John Manoogian
@crixlet @corleyh Thanks again for the feedback. It sounds like we do still have some work to do to make our web onboarding process much more user friendly, and more likely to bring people to the try the product itself (which we believe is world class).

Brilliantly crafted product from an exceptional all-stars team. period. Freeletics is moving godspeed and there is no slowing down for them! Kudos!

I saw an ad on Facebook a while ago and after seeing some of the transformation videos, it kinda got stuck in my head. A few months later, I felt like I wanted to become more active, more fit, and I went straight back to Freeletics. The message is very powerful, it was basically the first thing that came to my mind when I started thinking, ok, how should I proceed with this more active lifestyle. I'm now doing my introduction week with the coach after trying out some of the workouts first. My body feels sore and exhausted, but I feel great, I feel achieved and empowered. Never once have I felt so great about working out with any other app/programme or by just going to the gym. It's also about the community around Freeletics, the free athletes. Everyone's extremely supportive of each other because they know how damn hard it is, and how incredibly rewarding, we're all in this together! ClapClap for building such a great product and community, @memo_my @andrejmatijczak @jmanoogian1 @stephanhauner @phil7muc @koinfreeletics @janndriessen @praktikant

I am going to try this. Thanks @Shahed Khan for sharing.

I like it, but it's more for burning fat than for building muscles. If you are a skinny/skinny fat you need to lift weights and eat.

I used freeletics some time ago and must say I turned into a beast in no time! Update looks sick!!

@praktikant will there be an Apple watch version?

@mossibat @praktikant We already did do a hackathon for the watch but we are waiting for the new OS update by Apple to provide a better experience.
