Monitor 50 URLs at 1-minute interval & alerts you via email, Slack or SMS when it is down. You’ll also get 5 Public status pages, Multi-user login (upto 30 users), Global latency & Apdex Reporting.
All of the above features are FREE forever.
This is going to give a lot of products a run for their money being free and having everything a small to medium sized business needs including monitoring, alerts, multiple check types and even status pages. I'm guessing this would tie in very nicely with the other Freshworks' products as well.
Pros:- Love the friendly feel of this monitoring tool. Unlike all other "serious" tools.
- The Reports section is very detailed!
Cons:- None that I can think of
Smooth experience setting up. Nice holistic view of all sites being tracked. The public status page is also a neat touch.
Pros:Simple and easy to setup and use
Cons:Not totally bad, but could use SMS notifications
I like this "Free for ever" thing. Rarely we see free products with great features and awesome UX.
Pros:Clean UI and easy to setup. Very cool integrations. Up and running in a minute.
Cons:Nothing till now.
I set this up for a friend to observe downtime in his website and he is quite happy with the service. The idea of creating a group is very much useful
Pros:Easy to setup.
Cons:Nothing so far
I have been using other products for uptime monitoring and public status page. Some of them did not have User friendly UI where as the others were expensive for multiple monitoring for a 1 minute interval. On both front, Freshping looks like a clear winner.
API latency analysis from multiple geographies is definitely going to be crucial for infrastructure planning. The dashboards are user friendly and the public status page is definitely helpful.
Apdex is again going to be great for engineers to keep the response time in track for various APIs.
Kudos to the entire team for an amazing service and that too for free.
Pros:UX is great.
Good to see a lot of checks other than just HTTP(s).
Global latency tracker is an important factor.
Super easy to setup.
Cons:There is no pause monitoring.
It would be really great to have a report download feature or a monthly uptime report.
Our local developer Community Website is using Freshping to monitor downtime.
Pros:Easier to setup- Takes less than a minute, configuring an URL to monitor..
Cons:I'm yet to find any cons!
Been using Freshping to monitor SnapShooter however got an email today telling me they had 23 minutes of downtime. Very happy they owned the issue however.
Pros:Simple to use
Cons:23 minutes of downtime due to release bug
I monitor a popular community website for downtime using Freshping. The mobile version of the community is buggy and Freshping helps me understand if it is the site's problem or a bug that is denying me access through the phone. Setup literally took me under a minute!
Pros:Simple to setup. Has a clean UI. Integrates with Slack.
Cons:Nothing to report of as yet.
I've been waiting for the slack integration, Release ASAP.
Pros:Easy to setup, User friendly UI, Instant downtime alerts. Simply powerful
Cons:None
Are the status pages really Free forever? Are we limiting the status pages, one per account, as in Pingdom?
Pros:Checked it out briefly. Was able to on-board the checks quickly. The UI looks sleek.
Cons:Nothing yet.
I've been waiting for the day I could make a good statuspage. Today is this day
Pros:great product, great support, super easy and functional
Cons:none yet
