Dark mode is super! I hate how white Figma is and Figgy fixes that beautifully! I Think I'll keep using Figmac for now though because it shows you all the Figma shortcuts in the menu (as a newbie, that's VERY helpful!) Once I get the hang of them, I'll probably switch to Figgy! @ravenyu could you add shortcuts like FIgmac though? It would be awesome :D
--------UPDATE--------VERSION 1.1--------SEP 17--------
A hotfix for some missing unthemed areas.
Thank you for reporting them.
Now Figgy is truly uber duper meticulously themed!
There is no update mechanism built-in, so please head over to the site and download it again ๐ฆ
@ravenyuix Figgy won't let me use the application because when I try to log in via Google it says the browser isn't supported by Google. Does this app only work when you have a non-Google affiliated Figma account?
@ravenyuix Ah that's unfortunate. It's just that I mean I have all my design projects in the account that is affiliated with Google and it would just be inconvenient to have to export everything over. If you could find a way of hosting Figgy on a supported browser like Chrome or Chromium or something like that, that would be amazing. I assume many people are in the same boat I am.
Hi there! Iโm the maker of this tweak.
Iโll be using Figma at work and Iโve been dreading it... I know many designers also consider the vanilla Figma a lesser experience than competing native apps. I hope sharing this will make you give it another shot!
And yes, even those loading placeholders for the plug-in page are themed ๐
If you encounter any bugs, please let me know!
And please keep in mind:
1๏ธโฃ Google login is not supported.
2๏ธโฃ Plugins cannot be themed. They live in their own iframes, and theyโre each coded differently.
3๏ธโฃ That black โAgโ font style icon is also unthemeable. There isnโt any way (that I know of) to target that PNG image without affecting other elements.
Feel free to tweet @ me if you know how to get around those issues.
I plan to support this tweak until an official dark mode is released.
Enjoy!! โจ๐
I'm a dark mode junkie so this is relevant to my interests ๐

--------UPDATE--------VERSION 1.2--------SEP 22--------
Bugfixes for various missing unthemed places. Thank you for reporting them. Again, there is no update mechanism built-in, so please head over to the site and download it again ๐ณ
@nathanrightnour Thank you! And great question!
The key differences are:
๐ Dark mode - Not just any dark mode... it's the most thoroughly themed one.
๐ฅ Native Mac system font - It will look right at home and I think it's a better UI font. Bonus: the brand new SF Mono is used for code snippets.
๐ฑ Quality of life changes - Most menus and buttons now have an active state, so it feels more responsive. (https://twitter.com/ravenyu/stat...) Font weights are more readable. Rounded corners are more consistent across the app.
Hey @ravenyuix , just downloaded it, and first impression is it's nice! but please consider making the hover states lighter or a different color (such as for Layers/Assets buttons)-they seem to completely disappear when hovering over them.
@ravenyu ah, I thought you've implemented local font loading somehow. It's not about CSS, it's about using something other than Google Fonts in the actual design.
Why doesn't this open files in multiple tabs the same way Figma does? I sometimes need to quickly jump back and forth between files and this makes it impossible to do that.
Hi! Thank you for this! I really love it, I just wanted to ask if there is a way to add colouring panel/layers function? Like it is in Photoshop or Sketch with Midnight plugin.
This product uses a browser window where you just log in into your figma account and it changes the styles of their web page to the dark theme (which you could, for instance, also do with your own browser extension or alike). This electron app has got the default electron menu, so it's actually completely useless without the original figma's menu... It's just a waste of money...
@engulfer Hi Dmitry. Quite unfortunate that you donโt find it useful. But this is exactly what a lot of people are looking for. Thousands of people who are actively using it would agree. Have a fantastic day! ๐
Hey ! Can I have look at your code (If it's a opensource)? --- I wanted to see if I could contribute to it or not--- May be more customizable color theme.
@joebentaylor hey Joe!
The Figgy interface is set to the Mac system fonts and cannot be changed.
If youโre referring to using custom fonts in your own projects, please check out this help article: https://help.figma.com/article/3...
@alisson_schwanz@raveny why don't you display:none; the Google SSO button then? would've saved me 15 minutes of running in circles, reaching out to Figma support, etc. Glad I saw this reply but you should make this constraint clear.
