An extension that makes VS Code ideal for managing your Markdown content. Useful when working with site generators like Hugo, Jekyll, Hexo, NextJs, Gatsby, and many more. It allows you to manage the article's front matter, preview the site, and more.

Awesome, definitely will give it a shot! Is it like a CMS come into the VSCode? No more need to NetlifyCMS etc.?

@milkers I've never used these headless CMS-es in the past, but this definitely gives you a light weight way to manage your content. From creating new pages from templates, to updating the front matter, and more.

Oh what an absolutely awesome idea. I created a CLI to do that, but UI inside of VSCode is just as great if not faster for me. Excellent extension, @eliostruyf

Hi all, The Front Matter extension has been around for some time now, but lately, I gave it a lot of new and useful features. If you use a static site generator, like Gatsby, Hugo, Next.js, Jekyll, and many more. I encourage you to give it a try. The extension allows you to manage all your content straight from within your Visual Studio Code editor. Issues or enhancements can be reported in the GitHub repo: https://github.com/estruyf/vscod...
