Craft and refine your product copy in seconds with the AI-powered UX Writing Assistant. Get copy suggestions inspired by UX writing best practices and products in your industry to improve user experience and save writing time – without leaving Figma.
Hello, PH community!
I’m thrilled to announce Frontitude’s UX Writing Assistant, an AI assistant for Figma that helps you write effective UX copy, followed by UX writing best practices – faster than ever. ✨✍️
Since the very beginning of Frontitude, we’ve been excited about helping teams craft effective language in their products, to communicate more clearly with their users, and generally deliver great user experience.
With the brand-new UX Writing Assistant for Figma, you can:
🆙 Revamp your copy according to UX writing best practices and world-class products in your industry
📚 Save copy to easily reuse it and improve future suggestions
🐇 Cut writing time to (at least) half
We are currently running on Beta. If the assistant’s suggestions don’t help you, or if something isn’t working properly – we’d love to know! We've made it super simple to share your feedback with a handy feedback button.
Please drop here any feedback, questions, or suggestions! We're all ears.
@a_budzialowska Yes, we ask you to tell us what is your company type, industry, and user persona. We mix everything with our secret sauce and generate copy suggestions using Open AI's GPT-3.5.
Yesterday night, when working on a new last-minute feature of the UX Writing Assistant plugin, we had five new copy elements added to the product. We used the plugin itself to iterate on the copy.
Working hand-in-hand with the plugin, out of 5 elements, 3 of them (!) were finalized in less than 3 iterations with a result that we were more than satisfied with and represented our tone of voice.
It was exciting to see the power of incorporating the plugin into our writing process.
Great work @frontitude team! Already love working with it, and happy to share it with the world!

We're just gearing up for a big UX rework and this is perfect timing! How does the integration actually work? Do the changes happen directly in the product via a plugin or is it more of a copy/paste situation?
@justin_govy The core of this integration is suggesting you copy that fits your design and product, based on the latest AI tech and our secret sauce.
It also allows you to save and reuse copy across your Figma designs. For example, you can select text elements (one or more), pick a saved item, click its options menu, then "Paste into selection". This will inject the saved copy value into the selected text elements in Figma.
I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if not! :)
This is definitely something I'm sharing with the product team, to try out. I can deeply relate with the issues that this tool is trying to solve for. Currently, when our product team scopes out new feature details, copy is something that's left as an after thought. There's no proper copy level checks that happen, and from design the feature passes to development. By the team our product marketing team identifies that the copy is non-intuitive & is affecting the user's perception of the next steps - it's already in dev, and difficult to make these changes. This tool can be used by Product Managers, and give a much better V1 copy.
Brilliant use-case find @tomericco & team! Congrats on the launch & all the best!
Congratulations to the team at Frontitude for launching UX Writing Assistant! Excited to see how this AI-powered tool can enhance user experience and save valuable writing time. 🚀✨
Another amazing feature from the Frontitude team! The age of AI is bringing so many powerful solutions, and I love this approach of turbocharging human-powered work with the help of AI tools. Looks like a great feature, can't wait to give it a try :)
@forrestmck Thank you! It's an exciting time indeed, with AI opening up new possibilities for enhancing productivity and creativity. We can't wait for you to try out our feature and experience its power firsthand 🤩
This is really neat! Are you also planning on allowing users to integrate their own Chat GPT4 accounts so they can use that version? I saw other tools adding this and I think it's a great idea for those that are already subscribed to gpt4
@claumarin Thanks Clau!
We currently don't plan to allow this kind of configuration, but we think about moving to GPT-4 as the default model once it's more mature (to enjoy suggestions in different languages, and other benefits). In general, our approach is to make our users' lives easier with as less configurations as possible. :)
@tomericco Amazing, I was just thinking that in this way you can still keep the "free plan" available, apart from introducing gpt-4 and have more costs on your back.
@yuvalzil Thanks for the hilarious suggestion! We won't call it the 'Lorem Ipsum Killer' just yet, but I'm sure this tool is here to make Lorem Ipsum shake in its boots. 🤣
