love the idea but when i tried to search for agencies offering Search Engine Marketing Services in Melbourne the rusults did not look very promissing https://app.fulfilli.com/search?... I imagine this will get better over time. How do you source the data? How do you rank them?
Janis Sprenne
@saijogeorge We got a list of nearly 55k agencies from different sources and then left around 5000 on Fulfilli with best reviews. Then we translated the existing reviews into our own review score that we plan to replace with a scoring system of our own as we grow and start getting more transactions happening on Fulfilli itself. Our rankings are optimized so that companies who update profiles would instantly rank higher than those that are not updated, thus there are regions where we still don't have too many up to date profiles. We're thinking about deleting unclaimed profiles after a while to keep only fresh and updated in search results.
Janis Sprenne
@saijogeorge and thanks for the feedback, will look into the Melbourne results specifically and outreach local agencies to make this right.

Janis Sprenne

I built and sold a competitor in this niche a few years ago. There’s room in the space, just need to get that SEO on point.
Janis Sprenne
@frantzlight Hey, Chris! Would love to chat about your experience. We have our advantage to be able to see and hire the best marketers in the world and SEO is my background - looking forward to smash it.

You are literally using the Finizens logo in the exact same colors. Not a great first impression.
Janis Sprenne
@siragnabih thanks for sharing this. Never heard of Finizens before. Our logo was made by our long time friend and senior designer who is working for a listed unicorn tech company. It's designed more than 3 years ago.
Janis Sprenne
@siragnabih this question brought our interest and we see that our logo was made in March 2016 and Finizens first appearance in web archive with this logo is in 2017 and we've had our first Product Hunt launch by then https://www.producthunt.com/post... https://web.archive.org/web/2017...

@sprenne I stand corrected Janis! When I see a product on PH I tend to assume (wrongly) that it was created 4 minutes ago!

Looks like a fresh take on clutch.co, I like it!
Janis Sprenne
@brencansk Our main distinction, next to the fact that our search is so much more advanced, is that we see ourselves as a business development platform for both, buyers and sellers of digital services. Cluth is stating that their business model is advertising.
Janis Sprenne
Thank you @kevin for the hunt! Here is our story: We started and grew a digital agency to a top5 performance agency in the country by fully automating lead acquisition. Then we went to automate pricing to answer the main first question agency customers have - how much is it to work with you? We launched our Website Cost Calculator here on PH 2+ years ago and this is practically how Fulfilli got started. Our pricing tool exploded and we got 15k organic visits the first month. It was clear - people need help to navigate digital services and pricing. Today we are launching the Advanced Agency Search which we believe is the best digital agency search on the market. We want finding a digital agency to be as easy a booking a room on booking, com. We appreciate your comments and feedback.

All the best @sprenne , lookes wonderful!
Janis Sprenne
@shehryar_shaukat_khan Good to hear, thank you!
tela
Super cool product! I'm interested in why you went with "traditional agencies" instead of branding? Also, using the 5-star to indicate a preferred partner is a little bit of a dark pattern, even with the mouseover and sore on the right. I'm sure you've tested it, but I'd keep an eye on that.
Janis Sprenne
@tela there are a few categories in search where there are a few other merged together and this is the one where there are Branding, creative, market research and a few more. but seems like we should unmerge these for better search experience. Will look into this, thanks!

A nice opportunity for agencies 👌
Pablo Jonas
Too expensive for small start-up agencies...
Janis Sprenne
@pablo_jonas Hey Pablo! Actually, you can have your agency profile on Fulfilli for free forever. And we are always looking for ways to reduce our pricing in long term.
Pablo Jonas
@sprenne Well, that would be nice, but I don't want to give my credit card info for something that is "free" so it looks impossible to register...
Janis Sprenne
@pablo_jonas next to credit card details is a Skip button ;)
Nar P
If you need a content writer, let me know :)
Janis Sprenne
@nar_p if you're an agency, please post a your service offer on Fulfilli and be found!

I have been using Fullfilli for about a year now, and I can not recommend Fulfilli to anyone. The developers have made many promises and have kept none so far. One big thing they have promised over and over again was a way to generate more customers. Gaining customers the Fullfilli way is almost impossible. You compete with many other freelancers and agencies for a minimal amount of actual customers using the site. Customers can not differentiate between offers on the site. They will most likely choose the cheapest option, which is, in many cases, not good for either side. Most IT Agencies and freelancers offer individualized products or services. Fullfilli does not know what to do with the process of selling your ideas or creating value. Their system promotes wannabe developers who offer fixed prices for building WordPress sites slapping on a free template and calling it done. If you value your services and work, stay away from Fullfilli. I think of Fullfilli as another Fiverr clone with a steep price tag for creators. In my opinion, the site should only be used to create offers, nothing more, and even then, there are multiple better alternatives for generating proposals. Most of those options to not have a monthly fee. There are numerous usability problems. Even basic funtions found in almost all management software are a hassle for the developers. Seriously, it took them three years to build this. Imagine how long it will take them to fix things or even add new functions. Oh, and if you dare voice your criticism via their helpdesk, they will ignore you and carry on with their lives. They do not have to help you because you already paid for it. Do not expect refunds. There are so many better things you could buy with that kind of money. Do not be as stupid as I was and believe their false promises. Maybe buy a book on how to generate more customers, it will most definitely help you more than Fullfilli.

I cannot recommend this software to anyone. In my opinion this is fraud!
