@goyashy thanks a ton! That’s a fantastic question! We are getting a stringent background check and approval process in place which would allow fewer but absolutely trustworthy pet lovers to be listed as hosts on furrn! Would love to hear your ideas and suggestions towards making furrn a safe place for the furry ones.

The worry-free pet hosting is brilliant, finally freeing us to travel without anxiety. The community connection aspect is heartwarming, sharing stories and solutions. Definitely considering hosting; any plans to introduce a rating system for hosts and guests? Great initiative, @vj_ overall!
@shivam_singh63 thank you for the kind words. To your question- yes, there is a review and rating system in place. Ratings/reviews would play a key role in identifying a trustworthy host. Pets would also have a profile and pet hosts would be able to rate them based on various parameters like behaviour/ training/ temperament etc.

Wow, Furrn.com sounds like a dream come true for pet owners! I can't tell you how many times I've had to scramble to find a reliable pet sitter when I've traveled. I'm curious, how does Furrn ensure the hosts are trustworthy? Do they go through a vetting process or background checks? It would be great to have that peace of mind knowing my fur baby is in good hands.

Since this type of marketplace usually generate quite monogamous relationship between supply & demand, after the initial matching (same as with baby sitters, cleaners etc), how do you plan to prevent disintermediation?
@sjoerdhandgraaf omg that’s a brilliant question. While the feature is still not live, we plan to rank users based on the number of repeat visits. This “repeat visits” attribute would work as one of the trust markers for pet parents to identify a trusted host. What do you think?
