@lewislebentz Thanks for the question! Gather will integrate with any source of truth for people information, whether that is Workday, Gusto, Rippling, Okta, Active Directory or anywhere where a company tracks employee info. Currently, we don't have a Workday Integration build out, but we have plans to add it in the future.
Great stuff. With huge ecosystem, Slack becomes the central hub for everything. This is awesome idea. Already onboarding now.
Btw, does anybody know there are any apps to help build knowledge base based on Slack. I find knowledge eventually built up within Slack since me and my team discuss a lot in Slack.

This is a great idea! Growth companies are always struggling to scale their people operations workflows. How does the automation within Gather work?

Gather combines information like someone's birthday or start date and uses that to trigger the messages or tasks it sends out.
So for example: one week before your Work Anniversary, your manager might receive a message reminding them to schedule a 1:1 with you or order your anniversary gift.
All of that is totally customizable, so the people team or any other leader can use the language or process that fits their culture.
We use Gather at my 60 person company for onboarding, offboarding, parental leave reminders, birthdays, and even wellness programming. It’s a super impactful tool! Though I’ve only been using it for two weeks, it’s incredibly user friendly and I’ve been able to pick it up in no time.

We've been using Gather at Ride Health for several months now. It's been great for saving time and improving how we recognize team members at crucial points in their journey. Cannot recommend the product and team highly enough!
This is awesome! People build businesses and all the best I know have an outstanding People Ops team with the tools they need to be successful - Gather sounds like one every People Ops team needs! This sounds like a great tool especially while many of are remote for the immediate future (and many may stay remote).
