Advantages and disadvantages of new Product Hunt feed change to makers?

Recently, I am reading a lot of mixed reactions about recent feed changes by Product Hunt. I love this platform personally and we will be launching our product soon. What are some advantages and disadvantages of new Product Hunt feed changes to makers?
