The pros of AI surely surpass the cons. AI can help reduce human error, automate repetitive tasks, improve processes and workflows, and the list goes on and on.
@isha_s1 Agreed! That's actually what we're hoping to do exactly with video editing - remove the repetitive low value add parts of it so creators/editors can focus on the important parts of a video!
Absolutely, Tanya. While AI brings unparalleled efficiency and innovation, concerns about privacy and job displacement remain significant; however, the potential for AI to solve complex problems and enhance human capabilities often outweighs these drawbacks.
Let's be honest there's just so much room for its misuse. When you see people using AI for taboo stuff and to fake others, you may say I wish there was no technology at all.
Although it has many advantages and in fact, it's really helpful on my way now, however, sometimes for personal benefits, it isn't worth corrupting our children and future generations.
@hosseinyazdi I think this is a balanced, fair take. Very curious though - what are you imagining in terms of corrupting our future generations? Thanks for your time Hossein!
My concern with using AI is sounding robotic - I think people can tell when AI has been used to create content. Sure, there are ways to combat that as well, but yeah it's still a concern of mine.
Overall, I think the pros of AI do surpass the cons - it's definitely been a big help thus far.
The major concern with AI especially for content writing is that sometime it hallucinates and gives incorrect information, so the output should be verified.
@kuldeep_gupta7 GPT Hallicinations can be extremely frustrating to deal w as a maker haha. Do you know why this happens Kuldeep? Pretty curious whats going on on the backend
@yukioyama I am not sure of the exact reason but it might be because of the probabilistic nature of LLMs. They are trained on certain data and patterns, which forms the basis of predicting the next word in the sequence. This prediction is completely mathematical in nature so LLMs can't decide what's right or wrong, it just outputs highest probability sequences.
Everything has its pros and cons, depending on how each person uses it.
For me personally, AI boosted my productivity a lot. So I even applied that to my team (copilot for coding)
There's always a worry about losing the human element and the speed at which AI is growing, but the advantages of AI are much more significant than any of the downsides.
Pretty concerned with how AI is progressing, indistinguishable AI human videos really aren't that far away. Curious about how AI detection will be able to match speed of AI improvements
