Weekdays- If you want more traffic or users for your product but the competition to make it in the top 5 products would be fierce. Weekends- Competition is low, less people visit Product Hunt so relatively easier to make it in the Top 5. You might not get as many users for your products as PH website traffic is less.

Mid of weekdays. Like Wednesday. Gives enough time for both pre-launch and post-launch efforts.
